Did you know that Benefit has quite the range of products to keep your brows in shape?
Brows a-go-go is a brow and eye shaping kit that includes two of their “brow zings” colors in light and dark, brow zings wax in light, a pink highlighter powder and eye bright cream. It also comes with a mini Smokin Liner in black, a dual-ended brow brush and mini pair of tweezers. Basically everything you need for your brows when you are on the go!
I really like the compact it comes in. It’s thick and sturdy and has a cute pattern inside and large mirror. Oh did I mention it also has a really cool guide inside that shows you where to place all the products and how to use them? I think that’s a nice touch.
Light, Dark, Brow Highlighter, Eye Bright
I actually use the Benefit Brow Zing in light every single day, so I love this kit. I think because they include light & dark powders it covers a huge range of brow colors because you can mix them to your shade.
The Brow Highlighter is really great for using just under your arch, which helps to make it “pop” even more.
The Eye Bright is a versatile product that can be used under your brow arch, in the corner of your eyes or on dark eye circles. Basically anywhere you want to brighten anything up. It’s very creamy and easy to apply, but a little thin.
High Brow is a “brow lifting pencil”. This is a very creamy pencil in a pale pink color. It’s meant to be used under your brow arch to highlight and “lift” it.
The Instant Brow Pencil is a very easy to use colored brow pencil which comes in light, medium and dark. One end holds the color and the other a shaping spoolie brush.
I used to use only pencils for shaping my brows, but then once I had discovered powder (namely MAC Omega) I kind of went off pencils. However, this one wound up being pretty great and I was surprised at the nice and natural look I wound up with.

As you can see, it looks extremely natural and not “drawn on” at all.
The pencil was really soft, perhaps a little too soft for my tastes because the tip disappeared pretty quickly. I have a feeling this is a pencil I would have to sharpen a lot to get a nice point, which means re-purchasing a lot more frequently than I would for a powder.
I do like the brightening effect of High Brow, but I usually use a highlight eyeshadow under my brow bone. I do tend to use this though when I am having a no eyeshadow day because it’s quick and easy.
I love the Brows a-go-go kit because it contains everything I need in one small package and it’s super easy to take with me if I travel. The pencils are both nice also, but I do prefer powders still. I think the Instant Brow Pencil would get used up quite quickly, which doesn’t make it as affordable as a powder.
