The Sally Beauty nail polish brand Finger Paints has two new pink colors out for October to promote Breast Cancer Awareness.
They will be donating $65.000 to the Cancer Support Community this month. Interestingly this is a company that the company I work for is a partner with. I work for a Biotechnology company that makes cancer drugs, including the #1 breast cancer drug Herceptin, so this is an issue that surrounds me every single day at work, not just in the month of October. However I do think it’s great whenever any awareness is raised about cancer, so good for them!
I have always found the formula of Finger Paints to be really exceptional. They are always SO smooth with a great flow and very opaque. These were both two coats. I also just love their bottle shape!
I Pink I Can
I Pink I Can is a light cotton candy pink with fine silver shimmer. It’s a lot prettier on me than I expected and I kind of love it! Even though it’s pink ๐
I’m A Survivor
I’m A Survivor is a medium/deep pink with larger silver shimmer. Again this looks waaay better on me than I expected and I love this color as well.
Overall:
Very flattering colors, exceptional formula, inexpensive, great cause. What’s not to like?
How are you feeling these? Do you ever wear pink nail polish?

I’m not usually a fan of pink polishes unless they are outrageously bright, but I actually love both of these! They’re subtle but still have something interesting going on!
Hi Meaghan,
Yeah I’m not huge on pink either but lately I have seen some really nice ones and these are both super pretty.
i REALLY love i’m a survivor ๐
Hi Kellie,
Ditto!!
I was just at Sally and didn’t grab them, Now I see I should have, love the darker pink. ๐

Hi Jackie S.,
It’s pretty, right? ๐
These are so cute… I’d definitely do a funky french mani with “I’m a survivor” on the tips for an awareness day.
By the way, I’m glad you’re doing better, guess you couldn’t stand having all those beauties and not swatching them.
xoxo.
Hi babymel,
I am back at work and feeling slightly better. Still not 100% but better, thanks!
Wow, I love both colours but especially the light pink version I think ๐ Thanks for the swatches ! ๐
Hi Lisa,
They are both way prettier than I expected ๐
Pink Polishes, beautiful and ordinary.
There aren’t many pinks I really like. Usually I use pink in pedicure.
But the important thing here is the combat against the cancer. That’s the reason to have one more pink.
I love both of these! I have never tried this brand. May have to check them out next time I go to Sally’s.
These are very pretty and I love the bottles too.
I didn’t expect to particularly like either of these, but they both look gorgeous!

I love both of these!! They’re beautiful! I may have to swing by and pick them up.
I do wear pink, but the shade has to be just right. Pink is not my go-to fall color, either. More for spring/summer. I like these on you, VV, but I don’t think they would work with my skin tone. My favorite pinks are: OPI “I’m India-Mood For Love” & BB Couture’s “Skipper.”
accckkk. like to support the cause, but wouldnt wear the pinks:(
So I love these colors and will be hitting Sally’s first thing tomorrow morning, but I have a question, I was in there a few weeks ago and there was a sign hanging up on the Finger Paints display saying that they were made by OPI…is that true? I’ve seen a million rumors about it, but never seen a sign declaring it and was very curious…are they made by OPI OPI or just getting it manufactured by a 3rd party company that also makes OPI polishes like some companies do??? So confusing, I try not to believe rumors, but a sign? Even if it is in Tennessee ๐
(Not trying to say they are dupes or blah blah blah, just curious if they are a sub company of OPI…like China Glaze puts on bottom of press releases about all their companies, which some of them frankly suprise me!!!)
Hi Cindi,
As far as I know they are made by Sally Hansen since this is their nail brand.
These are both lovely shades of pink. I don’t own any of this brand. This would be a good way to start.
I love the cotton candy pink, I Pink I Can.
My husband works biotech that makes cancer drugs too ๐

Pretty pinks! I’m surprised how much I like them =]
I never worn pink nail polish before but I’ve always wanted to try a pale pinkish color.
