Too Faced Perfect Nude Lip Liner might be one of the best lip liners I have ever tried. No really.
My lip liner back-story: My favorite lip liner of all time that I have been using for like 15 years is Revlon Timeliner Lip Pencil in Nude. The problem is, they stopped making it and I am down to just 1 tiny nub. Well they DO still have it on places like eBay, but not in stores. Anyway, I have been kind of desperate to find a dupe for it and I think this just might be *the one*.
Let’s start with the packaging. So pretty. Give me anything covered with a damask print and I am THERE. But seriously, the product itself has to be good, because I can’t exactly apply a cardboard box to my lips, now can I?
The ingredients pack a potent moisturizing punch as well. It’s got natural antioxidants, Vitamin E and Jojoba Oil, all to help moisturize and soothe your lips. It’s also waterproof and is anti-feathering, which is always a big bonus for those with “bleeding” issues.
Check her out, even the pencil itself has that lovely damask print on it. 🙂
The color of this pencil is obviously on the pink side of nude. It’s kind of a mauve/pink color, which happens to work really well with my skin tone.
It applied really smoothly, I didn’t feel like I had to use a heavy touch or force the color on to be even. It’s a very matte look, with no shimmer.
What I love about this color is that it just goes with so many lip products I already own. Technically you could just wear it on it’s own as a matte nude look. Or you could add any kind of pink/nude lipstick or lip gloss over it for an extra added color punch.
I love this liner and am really pleased with it. The only negative is the price. It’s not over the top expensive, but definitely a lot more than my Revlon Timeliner.
