Morning! It’s Friday, who’s feelin’ it?
I finally have my Rococo Nail Apparel swatches ready for ya’ll! I know I am a total tease by posting the box pics awhile ago, then not showing the swatches until now. So sue me. 🙂
Still you gotta admit, you’ve never seen nail polish come in such a pretty package, have you? And the color combo is one of my favs too.
Ok so I read about this company quite awhile ago in a magazine because of their polish called Gold Leaf Lacquer, which has actual 24K gold leaf inside it! I thought about getting it, but passed because of the price which is about $30-35.
BUT recently I was at my Bloomingdales in San Francisco and I spotted a little Space.NK apothecary, which I hadn’t seen before. Lo and behold I saw Rococo bottles and I was so excited! After much debate on which colors to buy I settled for the ones that just totally grabbed me and I couldn’t stop looking at. Because they were on the pricey side (I think they were around $22.00) I only got two.
The formula on these was spectacular! The were smooth, even, not too thin not too thick and opaque in two coats. Just as you would hope from an expensive brand like this. Check them out!
Andromeda is a gorgeous grey-brown packed with holographic glitter. Isn’t it amazing? This is such a unique color and trust me when I say it’s even more amazing in person. It’s SUPER holographic also, nothing wimpy about it. It’s so smooth and opaque in just two coats.
Metal Jacket is a brown coppery metallic packed with multi-colored shimmer. This one is also truly amazing. I happen to love copper colors and anything chocolate brown, so this is now one of my favorites. I can’t think of anything I have like it. This was two coats.
I am really happy I finally found these and got them. I am definitely wanting to try more of them now that I had such a great experience with these two!
As I mentioned above you can find these at Space.NK, or Cult Beauty or (try your local Bloomingdales or similar department stores), but they do ship from the UK, so if you live elsewhere shipping might be an issue.
What do you guys think about Rococo?
