Friday is here finally!
I can’t even believe I am showing you HOLIDAY stuff already seeing as it just turned to fall and it’s still hot here in the Bay Area. But I have quite a backlog gathering up of holiday collections now I so thought I better start swatching them before spring 2010 sneaks up on me 🙂
This limited edition collection from Jessica is called Social Lights. The bottles are so freakin cute, shaped like little colorful light bulbs.
The formula on these is decent, if not a little thick. You will definitely want to wait a couple minutes between coats on these (especially Starlet) or they tend to get clumpy and weird at the tip.
Starlet is a sheer polish filled with pale colored pink, green, blue purple and gold glitter. I can definitely imagine using this as a layering color because it’s so sheer. This was two coats.
Celebutante is a vivid ruby red shimmer. This is a great holiday red, totally screams “December” to me. This was two coats.
Debutante is a blurple shimmer. They describe it as a midnight blue, but to my eye it looked like a cross between blue and purple. There is a lot of tiny purple shimmer in it. This is totally gorgeous and was two coats.
This is a really cool little holiday collection and I especially love the cute bottle shape.
You can find this set on Jessica’s website now and it costs $19.95. They should also be in stores that sell Jessica products as well.
Let the holidays begin!
