Good afternoon!
Jessica Cosmetics has a really great new winter 2009 collection called Baby It’s Cold Outside. It consists of four new colors, all total hits in my book.
The formula is pretty great on these. Not too thick, not too thin, just right. They were all three coaters for maximum opacity, but that’s ok with me. Take a look-see!
Frost At All Cost
Frost At All Cost is a subdued dark teal with very slight shimmer. This one leans towards the blue side of teal and I LOVE it. Totally gorgeous and unique to me.
Divine Pine
Divine Pine is a dark “pine” green with super subtle shimmer. This one is similar to the other dark greens we have recently seen from Zoya, OPI and others, but this is actually a lighter green so it doesn’t look black indoors, yay!
Midnight Mist
Midnight Mist is a shimmery jewel colored dark purple. This was hard to get good pics of because it’s not just a basic purple, it has really nice red/lavender shimmer in it.
Black Ice
Black Ice is a black loaded with tiny silver micro-glitter. This is PACKED with silver, which I love. And the glitter stays on top of the black, it doesn’t sink down so it’s barely there, which is irritating. Very sparkly and fabulous!
I am super happy with this collection, I love each and every one of these and will totally be wearing them all winter.

Frost at All Cost is gorgeous – murky teal is one of my favorite polish colors! I’m trying to figure out if Fishnets and Fringe is similar before I order… do you have that one/any thoughts?

I love them all! I really like dark polish and these colors are all new to me! I may have to get all four! Yay for new polish!
Hi Kelly: Every time I see a photograph of you, you always looks more and more beautiful and gorgeous. I love your nose piercing. Anyway, Jessica is awesome! Her polishes I love them all and I have to check out her web site. I really love “Frost at all Cost”; “divine Pine”; “Midnight Mist” and “Black Ice” is so shimmery love those special effects!.
I also checked out your NSFW red lip gloss and you look stunning with the red color. The black would look good for a Halloween color but I was wondering if this is this is a new fashion statement for woman to wear all the time now? I mean when black fingernails first came out people were somewhat shocked but I always loved the look. Will black lip gloss (or does it go with skin tone) make the rounds like black nail polish? I am not sure, what is your take?

I don’t think black lipstick will be as “common” as black nail polish. It’s just *so* in your face compared to polish. I think it’s more of the kind of trend you maybe mix with another color to change it up or darken it. I love the way it looks in a very fashiony way, but I wouldn’t wear it to work 🙂
Black Ice I like a lot. The others are sort of meh.
These look very nice to me. I’ve never bought or used this brand.
Black Ice looks great, but now I have that AC/DC song stuck in my head! Not that it’s a bad thing, though xD
