Top o’ the mornin’ to ya! It’s Monday yet again…I wonder how many good compared to bad Mondays we have to deal with over a lifetime?
Anyhoo, I’ve got Sally Hansen’s new Hi-Definition colors for fall 2009 to show you today. These are some seriously awesome colors and they are all shimmery metallics. One of them, Opulent Cloud, is the exclusive shade of the fall 2009 Tracy Reese runway show. She created this color to show off the many hues in her fall collection and you will see how awesome it is below.
The formula on these is really great. I had no issues and all were totally opaque in just two coats. Peep ’em out!
Gigabyte is a soft light pink that flashes gold. This is definitely a cool color, even with the gold, so it looked really great on my fair skin.
Disc is a cross between penny colored copper and burnt orange to my eye. It also flashes gold and is a very warm color. Gorgeous.
Opulent Cloud. Need I say more? This is the one that Tracy Reese created and it’s simply stunning. Trust me when I say in real life it’s far better than pictures can describe. It’s a grey/silver color that flashes gold. This, of course, was my favorite one here, it’s amazing and I own nothing like it.
Zip is an intense red that flashes orange/gold. This is a really pretty, cool red and in the sun it’s really beautiful.
Zip came to me totally broken, thanks to my wonderful mailman who CHUCKS my packages over my fence onto the concrete 5 feet below on a regular basis, despite the fact that the boxes say “FRAGILE” on them. I am actually quite lucky though that this is the first one that was broken due to my idiot mailman. I don’t know why I like showing these bottles, it always amazes me that they break then glue themselves back together with the polish so I can still open and use them!
Overall I am extremely happy with this collection. I think it offers a nice range of colors and not colors you see every day either. These should be available very soon everywhere you can normally find Sally Hansen polish. GOOD LUCK finding them, I know it can be very difficult. A couple readers have emailed me letting me know they JUST got the spring polishes in their local CVS stores, which just seems so late to me considering we are rapidly heading towards fall now.
If you can find these, which ones would you get?
