No Vampy Varnish Tuesday Poll today folks, I have something MUCH more fun! I am super excited about this Tracy Reese for Sally Hansen Limited Edition Spring 2009 collection because I happen to love ALL the colors, which never happens. Now I know that for a lot of you these are going to be really hard to find in your local drugstores. I too have lots of issues with these Tracy Reese colors. If you can’t find them after searching in a couple stores (wait until end of Feb/March as I believe this collection comes out then) I say write into the company and let them know your thoughts and frustrations. If enough of us write in, maybe they will finally listen!

I am showing all these colors both in the sun and in the shade to try out something different. I apologize in advance for the reflections in the shade pics, it couldn’t really be helped, but it does give you a different view of the color.
Beet Stain in Sun
Beet Stain in Shade
really creamy beet red like the name says. I personally think this is
one of those colors that would look good on all skin tones because it’s
not too cool or warm. It only needed two coats and the application was
very smooth and opaque.
Azalea in Sun
Azalea in Shade
Forsythia in Sun
Forsythia in Shade
was going to look awful on my skin because of the yellow undertones I
have. But it turns out, it was pretty fabulous. Of all the colors, this
was the one I had some small application issues with. It was a bit
sticky and streaky the first two coats. After the third coat though, it
seemed to settle out and became nice and opaque. There is a lot of
super fine silvery shimmer running throughout and as you can see, in
the sun it’s gorgeous!
Nasturtium in Sun
Nasturtium in Shade
see from the pics that this one is uber creamy and beautiful. I only
needed two coats and it’s another one I feel would flatter most
skin tones as it’s not too cool or warm. I LOVE it.
Night Hydrangea in Sun
Night Hydrangea in Shade
WOW. When I put this on I was like WOW. It’s a grape purple, again with
the super fine silver shimmer in it and it’s like no other purple I
own. I only used two coats here but I think I could maybe have done
three and it would have just been a smidge darker and more uniform.
This is my second favorite of this collection.
Honeydew in Sun
Honeydew in Shade
You can tell why can’t you? This is the teal I have been waiting for
people! It’s a really nice cool medium blue/green teal with fine
silvery shimmer. I only needed two coats. This color makes me really
excited for spring!
All in all I am beyond impressed with this whole collection. There are so few collections out there that I would actually wear every single color, so hat’s off to Sally Hansen for partnering with Tracy Reese on these! Now if we could only FIND them in drugstores, LOL! So what do you think gals and guys? Which ones are you dying to get and which ones are you going to pass on?
Vamp it up!
