Misa Frosty Nights for winter 2014 features six new super shimmery, cool-toned shades.
I’ve had this collection for awhile, sorry I am just now getting it posted! I was excited when I saw these bottles because they looked like shades I would love. They are dark, shimmery, cool and magical looking. Happily I can say they work just as well on the nail as they do in the bottle. Misa has such an outstanding formula and these do not disappoint. Most of them were the standard two coats, but I needed three coats for two of them. Their formula is so buttery, smooth and pigmented.
Hour After Hour is a pale silvery/green shimmer. Pretty shade but probably my least favorite here just because it’s not amazing in my book. This was a little sheer so I used three thin coats.
Cricket Symphony is a dark olive green shimmer. This is one of my favorites here because you know I love an olive green! It’s so sparkly. This was two coats.
The Night is Blue is a deep shimmery teal-blue shimmer. Great blue, not your typical color. This was on the more sheer side so I used three coats.
Blue Yonder is a shimmery blurple. It’s blue, it’s purple, it’s blurple! I love this shade because it’s bright, clean looking and so pretty. This was two coats.
Silver Rains is a blueish/deep silver shimmer. Another stunner. Something about this blue/silver shade really appeals to me. It’s so very shimmery as well. This was two coats.
Sitting Careless is a purpleish/deep silver shimmer. I really like this one too because of the purple shimmer and it’s so saturated. This was two coats.
Great collection overall! I like all six shades but if I had to choose just three that I think are the best and/or most unique, I would get Blue Yonder, Silver Rains and Cricket Symphony.
You can find this collection on the Misa website and they retail for $7.50 each.
Whatddya think about these colors?
