The new Christopher Kane for NARS Collection for summer 2015 features some “neoneutral” shades. These colors were inspired by neon colors and the nude shades that pair well with them.
The collection is limited edition and features two Illuminating Multiples, four Lip Glosses, three Eyeshadows (a single and a duo) and two Blushes. Everything here might look super bright and intense but it’s actually all sheer yet colorful. There is lots of pretty iridescent glitter in many of the items as well.
Quantam is a sheer magenta with super-fine iridescent sparkles.
Glow Pink is a sheer neon fuchsia.
Nebulous is a sheer neon coral.
While Quantam may be” sheer” it definitely is still fairly pigmented and looks super pretty on the cheeks. The iridescent sparkles are very subtle and not super noticeable, so no worries about it looking all crazy sparkly. At first I thought the Lip Glosses wouldn’t even be worth lip swatching because they seemed so sheer but once I applied them on my lips I realized you can actually see the color coming through. There is a definite difference between the two shades, though it is harder to tell in photos. They aren’t sticky at all and are super shiny.
This collection will be available starting April 15th on the NARS website and NARS boutiques, and May 1st at Sephora and department stores. Note: Quantam is exclusive to their website and boutiques.
