The Morgan Taylor Ooh La La Collection for Spring/Summer 2015 takes inspiration from romantic and classic Parisian colors.
CEO and Founder Danny Haile says “I’m always inspired by Paris — from its romantic essence, iconic art and architecture to its fashion trends. For this collection, we developed a color palette around this theme using soft to lavish shades filled with vintage charm.”
There are four new shades featured here and they range from a creme to a glitter to gorgeous shimmers.
Postcards From Paris is a Tiffany-blue-ish creme. It borders on being a teal-green color but looks slightly more blue on me. It had a bit of a thick formula, but it wasn’t really hard to work with. This was two coats.
Cancan We Dance? is a light pink with multi-colored pearl shimmer. So pretty! A very “princess-like” pink. This too was on the thick side but it covered in two coats.
Amour Color Please is a fuchsia pink with multi-colored pearl shimmer. This is much more interesting on the nail than I expected it to be. I LOOOOVE this shade. It’s super vibrant and the shimmer is gorgeous. This had a really good creamy and smooth formula, and covered in two coats.
Escar-go to France has a clear base and features pastel pale pink, medium pink, pastel pale blue, white and holographic glitters in various sizes. Since it’s not a full-coverage glitter it looks best layered. This was two coats here and I got a good amount of each shade/size with each swipe.
Such a flirty and feminine collection! I love all the colors here but Amour Color Please in particular was my personal favorite.
This collection will be available in May on their site and through certain distributors and they are $8.50 each.
