Rescue Beauty Lounge Nail Polish Spring 2010 Swatches & Review

Morning all!

So it’s yet another dreary Monday morning here in the Bay, blech. How was your weekend?

Today I have Rescue Beauty Lounge’s new colors for spring 2010. These colors were inspired by the Proenza Schouler spring 2010 collection, which was all about the surfer vibe.

I cannot comment about the formula yet because these samples are not RBL’s actual formula.

Two of the colors have very subtle shimmer, so I posted two pics, one without flash and one with. Check them out!

Diddy Mow (without flash)

Diddy Mow is a gorgeous dusty putty green with very slight shimmer. I am in love with this color and do not own anything like it. No it’s not a dupe for anything else! Diddy Mow is an actual surf term for a harsh wipe-out. This was two coats.

Vampy Varnish Fav’s Featuring: Red

VV Top 5 Red

Afternoon/evening everyone!

Today I am starting a new series called “VV Top 5″, which will feature my top 5 favorite polishes by color and finish.

I thought for the month of December I would do holiday colors, and the first color that comes to mind when I think of Christmas is red. So here we have them!

These are my favorite 5 red’s that I actually own. Some of the pics were swatched awhile ago, so the pictures don’t all look totally consistent (sorry!).

They are in no particular order.

Rescue Beauty Lounge The Blog Writer’s Colors

Monday. Again. Sigh. Maybe the polishes I am about to show will cheer some of you ‘I’ve got the Monday blues’ folks up.

Rescue Beauty Lounge Bottles1

You may have heard that Rescue Beauty Lounge paired up with three great nail polish bloggers to create The Blog Writer’s Colors collection. These ladies wanted to create a polish that wasn’t yet available on the market and was something they had dreamt about. Well I can say I think they managed to do that, and the results are simply fabulous.

I don’t even think I have to say anything about the formula, Rescue Beauty Lounge is some of the best polish out there. Not a single flaw with application on any of these, as I would expect from a color that costs $18.00 per bottle! Peep ‘em out!
