OPI Swiss for fall 2010 is here!

This collection is made up of twelve new colors. One half of the collection is shimmery metallics, and the other is cremes. Today I’ve got the shimmery (better half) of the collection for ya.

The formula on these was pretty nice. They were thick and I got good coverage after three coats for most (some were two).

NOTE: Vampy Varnish 3.0 is finished and should be live within a day or two. You might not see a post from me tomorrow or Wednesday, so don’t panic. I am trying to coordinate a time for the new site to go live, and since I am in the US and my web design company is in New Zealand, it’s a little tricky!

Glitzerland

Glitzerland is a C3PO gold metallic. I always think of C3PO when I see this color and that makes me happy. Love this gold because it’s not real warm, and suits my skin tone nicely. It’s got little flecks of other colors in it as well. This was two, very un-streaky coats.

Hiya folks!

OPI has a new summer collection out called Summer Flutter and I’ve got them for you today.

I was pretty pleased with these because they were a little different from what I would expect of OPI for summer. In other words, more interesting than normal!

Having said that though I was a little disappointed after I actually applied them. A few of the “more interesting” ones didn’t live up to my expectations from the bottles.

The formula was fine, if not a little thick. They were all two coaters except one.

Flower-To-Flower

Flower-To-Flower is a creamy pink with very subdued silvery shimmer. I am in love with this color! Seriously I know it’s like a Barbie pink, but it went on so smooth and nice, and I love the shimmer. I wore this one already and I really do love it. Perfect for summer! This was two coats.

What’s up?

Yep, I am up to my tricks again and this time I am giving away something really fun to FOUR lucky people!

This giveaway was kind of inspired by the whole OPI debacle with many of our beloved e-tailers. What’s shakin today people?

I know I said I was going to be taking it easier, but I haven’t really done that yet. It’s ok though I am keeping up a good pace and not over-exerting myself

SO today I’ve got OPI’s limited edition Damone Roberts 1968. This was released awhile ago as a limited edition color and I didn’t get it. Then at the end of April I started seeing Tweets that it was back again for a short time. So I called the number ordered me up a couple bottles and here we are. I am so glad I got it!

Let’s take a peek shall we?

This color is a very flattering, slightly muted, mint green creme. I passed on this the first time around because I figured I had every mint green already, and this would be a dupe. I was wrong. It is in fact a little deeper of a green than the others! And the formula is really nice, I only needed two coats.

If you are interested in getting this color (I’m not sure how many they have left though, if any) you can call the New York salon at 212-764-4755 or the Beverly Hills location at 310-271-2100.  The cost is $9.00 plus $3.95 for shipping, for US residents only.

Happy Friday!!!

Yes this post is very late for me, but I am pretty sure you will like it.

I just received the much anticipated OPI Shrek Forever After collection today, and I had to show you!

For once I also included some comparison swatches. This won’t be a regular thing for me because A. I don’t have time and B. I don’t sort my polishes by color so it’s really hard to go through them all and find possible dupes. But I thought you might like to see them for this collex since many of you are eager to see these!

The formula on these was really pretty nice. They were a little streaky when applying but after a few seconds they evened out and leveled out nicely. I used three coats on all of these except one, which is noted below.

What’s With The Cattitude?

What’s With The Cattitude? is a pale sky blue creme. It’s extremely flattering for my skin tone and I really liked it. Surprisingly I didn’t have very many blues to compare it to!
