TGIF!! This week has been SOOOO long. 
Here we have another reader request (of which I have a long list – don’t worry I am tracking them) Zoya Edyta vs. Diamond Cosmetics Never So Ever Green.
Both of these are deep olive green with shimmer. That might be where the similarities end though.

I wish I could say it’s a bright sunny day here in the CA, but nooo we have some of those “April showers” going on, boooo! Maybe today’s post will brighten up the day though!
Diamond Cosmetics has a new spring collection out and it’s pretty nice, if I do say so myself.
There are six colors in the collection that are mainly variations of blues/pinks and oranges.
The formula was pretty great on all, with a couple small exceptions noted below.

Serendipity
Serendipity, along with it being my favorite word, it’s a beautiful pale baby blue with silver shimmer. I knew I would like this one the second I saw the bottle and I really do. It’s not like other baby blues I already own, and it’s nice and opaque in just two coats.

Diamond Cosmetics has a couple new colors out for spring along with a new matte finish top coat. I am feeling a bit “over” the whole matte thing right now, especially since my brain is on bright glossy spring-like colors, but I wound up liking theirs more than I thought I would.
The formula on these colors was pretty darn good, no complaints whatsoever. Peep ‘em and weep!
Concrete Jungle
Concrete Jungle is a super fabulous light grey creme. Me loves it, it reminds me of this movie I watched about 20 million times in the 80′s with Maxwell Caulfield and Charlie Sheen called The Boys Next Door. Maxwell drove a primer grey hot rod, and ever since then I always loved this color. You might want to know if this is the same as Rescue Beauty Lounge’s Concrete Jungle. The answer is yes, it’s pretty much an exact dupe. So if you don’t have that, you could get this and save some cashola! This was two coats.

Today I am starting a new series called “VV Top 5″, which will feature my top 5 favorite polishes by color and finish.
I thought for the month of December I would do holiday colors, and the first color that comes to mind when I think of Christmas is red. So here we have them!
These are my favorite 5 red’s that I actually own. Some of the pics were swatched awhile ago, so the pictures don’t all look totally consistent (sorry!).

I’ve been showing a lot of nail polishes lately by Diamond Cosmetics, and today I’ve got more! It’s their new holiday 2009 collection featuring four new colors.
These are all beautiful glittery, sparkly colors and not totally obvious “holiday” colors either (well ok maybe one or two are).
The formula on these is really great (three-free!), and they cover very nicely. Enjoy!
Diamond’s Diamonds
Diamond’s Diamonds is a silvery white base with silver micro glitter. This one would look especially awesome over a dark ruby red or jet black. This was three coats.
