I don’t have a whole helluvalot to post this week because I haven’t been able to swatch for about 2 weeks.
You see there was the whole horrible cold incident for a week (remember boys and girls: always wash your hands and cover your mouth when sneezing or coughing!)

Today I am showing you a spring 2010 preview. Yep that’s right, the spring stuff is now officially being rolled out!
As you know I have shown a lot of the new CND Colour and Effects recently. Those were all part of their core line. The two I am showing today will be limited edition. Check them out!
Sweet
Sweet is a poppy pink creme. My camera made this look a wee bit more coral than it is in real life. It’s very pretty, vivid and perfect for spring. This was two coats.

Electric Purple
Electric Purple is a medium purple creme that has a lot of pink in it. It’s so creamy and fabulous to apply. Also totally opaque in two coats.
Good morning! It’s officially Halloween month yahooooooo!
Per a couple people’s requests after my CND Colour Effects series last week, I have swatched all the effects I have by themselves over my bare nail so you can see how they look on their own. Some you will be able to really see and unfortunately some are so sheer that you can’t tell much of a difference between them. But as you can tell from my swatches last week, they are definitely all different when put over a color. These are all just one coat, using more than one coat didn’t make much of a difference. Check them out!
Ice Blue Shimmer
Ice Blue Shimmer is one of the ones you can see really well over a bare nail. It’s an opalescent pale blue shimmer.

Today I’ve got CND’s Blackjack to show you with the effects. There is definitely a difference in Blackjack compared to some of the lighter colors with the effects, as you’ll see.
A couple people had requested that I also show you what the effects look like over my bare nail so you could see them on their own. I was happy to oblige, so I’ll show you those swatches soon!
Oh and I forgot to actually take a picture of Blackjack on it’s own so to let you know, it’s basically a solid black creme. I used two coats.
Blackjack with Ice Blue Shimmer on thumb, Sapphire Sparkle on pointer, Amethyst Sparkle on middle, Emerald Shimmer on ring and Jade Sparkle on pinky.
Because Blackjack is a solid black color the effects came out either deeper or brighter with this one. It’s pretty interesting how it works depending on the polish color!
