TGIF!
Chanel has three new colors out for spring 2010 and I have the only one that looked decent (lol) to show you today. The other two are called Inattendu, which is a peach/beige creme, and Tenderesse, a sheer nude/pink.
The thing about Chanel nail polish for me is this. I don’t get all gaga over every single color just because it’s “Chanel”. It still has to draw me in. Actually it has to work *extra* hard to draw me in because of it’s price tag! So when I heard about this one and was hearing words being tossed about like “mushroom” and “taupe” I knew I was going to want to own it. I’m not disappointed!

Particuliere
Particuliere is a dark taupe creme that definitely does have that mushroom effect I love. It also looks to be a little greyed out. The formula on this was really nice, no complaints. I used three coats simply because I like to ensure I have maximum coverage, but really two slightly thicker coats works just as well. This picture was taken under slightly cloudy skies so you might not be able to see that it does have some grey in it, but it really does. I cannot think of any dupes for it, despite all the taupe cremes I already own.
Overall I was happy (ok not happy) to slap down $23.00 for this one, but am glad I saved my money on the other two from this collection that just do not appeal to me at all.
What do you think about this one and Chanel polish in general? Overrated?
