piCture pOlish Winter 2015 is here!
Ok actually I have no idea if this is considered Fall 2014, Holiday 2014, Winter 2015 or what. They don’t name their collections, and they come out with quite a lot, so it’s always confusing to know what to title my blog posts. Because it’s winter and it’s now 2015 when I am reviewing these (even though they came out at the end of 2014) I am calling it Winter 2015. So there.
ANYWAY, I have four of the newest shades that came out – there are a few more you can check out on their site. Most of these are blogger collaboration shades, and I also have Holiday, which is a limited edition “special” shade that was made to celebrate 2014.
Hercynia was created with Nailderella. This is a forest green with major holographic shimmer. I am in love with this shade! Its incredibly rich and saturated. It’s bright, shimmery and so shiny. This was two coats.
Dragonfly was created with Lucy’s Stash. This is a deep teal green with holographic glitter. It’s blue, it’s green and it’s super sparkly all at once. Gorgeous shade and just two coats.
Escapades was created with Nail Escapades. This is a very dark teal green jelly with scattered holographic sparkle. It’s super dark and inky looking, which I love. Not so dark to look black though. And I love the sparkles! This was two coats.
Holiday is a limited edition multi-flakie holographic top coat. Each bottle is numbered and mine is 0974 out of 1000 (I think). This definitely works best over a dark color, so I used 1 coat of black underneath two thin coats of Holiday. Super sparkly and pretty!
As per usual, piCture pOlish seems to know exactly what nail polish lovers want. Well actually since three of these were created by nail bloggers, that makes sense! Their formula is probably one of the most consistently excellent formulas out there. It’s so rare I ever need more than two coats and even rarer that I have a problem with the finish. I really adore all four of these shades but I think Hercynia would be my favorite if I had to choose.
Which of these shades are you lusting after?
