Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick in Vigorous Violet Swatches Photos & Review

Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick Vigorous Violet

Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick comes in many shades, but they have four new ones in their Expressionists Collection.

They are Buffest Beige, Prime Pink, Ultimate Orchid and Vigorous Violet. The one that totally caught my eye was the purple Vigorous Violet, which is filled with pretty shimmer.

This is my first experience with this product by Revlon so I held myself back and only got the one color even though they were on sale at Walgreens for $6.59.

Question of the Week

It’s the end of the work week yet again. Yay!

Do you believe that your astrological sign really defines you (and other astrological stuff)?

Nope! I’m a Gemini and this is what Wikipedia says about my sign, in part:

“Gemini is also linked with the ‘element of air‘ which represents the mental and social realms, the ability to formulate abstract ideas and to effectively interpret symbols, imagined concepts and communicative signals.[3]:48 As the mutable air sign, governed by a planet which is astrologically given to the principle of transmutation and communication, the symbolic focus of the sign falls upon movement, quick-thinking, free-flowing expression, gesticulation, and spontaneous reaction. The sign is symbolised by ‘the twins’, which also presents duality: the ability to relate to opposing visions simultaneously, to possess dexterity and a talent for multi-tasking.[4]:18

Correspondingly, Geminians are said to be curious and to enjoy mental exploration, to be almost always at ease in social situations, to have a talent for writing and reporting, and to enjoy all forms of ‘talk’, from gossip to political debate. On the negative, they are reputed to have “butterfly minds” which become easily bored, and to shift their allegiances in a way that lacks commitment or loyalty.[4]:18 They are also said to experience discomfort with the expression of deep emotion.[3]:58 For this reason, though praised for being quick and clever, Geminians are also criticised for being elusive, fickle and ill-at-ease with emotional commitment.

  • duality, brotherhood, communicativeness, slyness, shallow laughter, detachedness, agility, dexterity, impertinence, irreverence, adaptability, talkativeness, apparent inconsistency.”

Some of this is true to me and some not. Most notably, I am definitely quick to get bored with things. That includes people sometimes! I am great at multi-tasking (which is how I got stuck in a job I loathe), and of course love writing. Also I am fairly good with adapting to new things and do have a sense of being detached in a lot of situations. Continue reading »

Creepy Spider 1

Recently I was testing out my new camera on the super creepy garden spiders which are PROLIFIC in my backyard this time of year. I literally have to walk with a stick in front me me waving it through the air so I don’t run into any cobwebs. SO GROSS! Oh and this one above is now like TWICE this size!
