This tinted moisturizer comes in three shades: Light, Light/Medium and Medium and offers a really (really) light coverage with a sun protection of SPF 18.

Light/Medium

I tried out the Light/Medium shade and found it was maybe a wee bit too dark for me, but was almost just right. Not sure if Light would be too light though.

The texture is really nice. It’s smooth, silky feeling and creamy. It applies easily and blends right into the skin. It feels moisturizing and not too dry or too oily. In terms of actual coverage though, it’s very minimal. It nearly looked like I had nothing but a regular moisturizer on, so those looking for a super sheer coverage might like this. I do love that it has an SPF 18 in it, always a bonus!

I also like that it comes in a 2.15 oz tube, which is a decent size. I often find these type of products only come in a 1 oz tube, which is rather small.

Overall: It feels really nice on but offers just the tiniest hint of coverage.

Revlon Chroma Chameleon is a new limited edition collection which features eight duo and multi-chrome metallic shades.

I had my eyes peeled for these for awhile and finally spotted these five at a Rite Aid near me. They should be at Walgreens/Rite Aid and CVS (and possibly Meijer and Harmon, which we don’t have in the Bay Area).

The three I didn’t get were Aquamarine, Gold and Cobalt.

The formula with these was decent, not perfect. Since they are metallic they tend to be a little brush-stroke-y. Most were just two coats but two I used three.

Tanzanite, Pink Quartz, Amethyst, Rose Gold and Topaz

Pink Quartz is a pink/gold shade. Ironically it looks like a rose gold to me more than the one actually named Rose Gold. Odd. Anyway the duochrome effect is rather subtle with this one. It’s a bit on the sheer side so I used three thin coats.

Rose Gold is a warm old-gold/bronze with flashes of green. Really it just looks gold/bronze for the most part. Subtle duochrome effect. This was two coats but my nails tips are showing so I could have used three.

Tanzanite (flash)

Tanzanite is a royal purple that looks like it flashes gold in the bottle, but it doesn’t really translate onto the nail much. This was two coats.

Topaz (flash)

Topaz is a vivid green which flashes a deeper green and slightly gold here and there. The gold is more apparent in the bottle than on the nail and you see some blue in the bottle as well. This was two coats and yes, I created a mess when I smudged it. Oops!

Amethyst is the only true multichrome here. It starts off as an amethyst purple and then flashes to grey and green under various lighting. I like this one and feel it was the best one. This was two coats.

Overall: Meh. I mean they look ok on the nail but I wasn’t blown away with the duochrome effect with most of them. Not loving the brush strokes either. I’ve definitely seen much better duochromes from other brands. I think the most interesting ones were Amethyst and Topaz. Also not loving the price for the amount you get!

Overall: These aren’t meant to be full coverage glosses, so they do what they say they are supposed to. They offer sheer to medium coverage, shine and comfort on the lips. The best shades of these four in terms of coverage and color my eyes were Party Starter and Ringleader.

Impala Nail Color is a Brazilian brand that recently launched in the US! Yay for news brands for us!

Their polishes are 3-free and many of them are also hypoallergenic. They have a pretty wide variety of shades and finishes as well.

There are two things to note with this polish. One is that yes, the bottles are shaped a little different from most in the US. I don’t love the shape but it didn’t have any negative effect in the application. I actually found the pointed tip easy to hold and manage. The one issue I had was the wand tends to get super flooded, so I had to wipe it and the brush off quite a lot before I applied the polish.

Cajá Manga

Cajá Manga is a cool-toned lemon yellow shimmer. The formula was rather thin and with most yellows it started off streaky. After three thin coats though, it was mostly completely even.

Palmeira Tropical

Palmeira Tropical is a soft jade green. This is a really nice subtle and quiet green. Not mint, not truly jade, but kind of a combination. The formula was a little watery and thin with this one. I used three thin coats here and it’s a little patchy on some spots still.

Água Fresca

Água Fresca is a slightly subdued sky blue creme. This one was a bit thicker and so I only needed two coats.

Biquini Vermelho

Biquini Vermelho is a vivid red jelly. This is a really gorgeous shade, finish and formula. Loved everything about it. This was just two coats.

Overall: Well this is my first time trying them out and I liked them. A couple of the shades gave me some streaking/patchy issues and the wand was flood city. But other than that no problems! I think of these shades the most interesting color is Cajá Manga and the best formula was Biquini Vermelho.
