The Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Eye Shadow Collection for spring 2016 is for sale starting at midnight, PST December 8th and I’ve got all the details and swatches for you!
This adorable collection of 16 eye shadows (14 are brand new colors) comes in a pink metal palette with heart shapes embossed on the outside which match the heart-shaped eye shadows inside. Of course there is a large mirror and some decorative writing as well. These shadows are infused with cocoa-powder, so yeah, it smells like chocolate! Inside you will also find a Glamour Guide with three looks you can create.
Almond Truffle is a medium matte brown/mauve.
Cashew Chew is a light pink with shimmer.
Dark Truffle is a dark chocolate brown with shimmer.
Satin Sheets is a golden pink metallic.
Cotton Candy is a light candy pink metallic.
Pecan Praline is a light cafe brown matte.
Cafe Au Lait is a metallic champagne/brown with micro-sparkles.
Totally Fetch is an intense pink shimmer.
Sprinkles is a light peachy pink shimmer.
Bordeaux is a deep reddish/brown matte.
Earl Grey is a deep grey metallic shimmer.
Molasses Chip is a medium copper metallic.
Mocha is a medium warm-toned brown matte.
Divinity is a pale vanilla with sparkles.
Malted is a dark brown with red sparkles.
Black Currant is a deep purple with pink micro-sparkles.
These shadows felt really nice and they all swatched very nicely over a primer. I didn’t have any patchy or chalky issues with any of them, including the very smooth mattes, and even the sparkly ones don’t seem like a huge mess. Everything was nicely saturated and I love the inside design of the palette. To be honest I wish the outside wasn’t quite as pink as it is. It looks a little…plain to me somehow. But that’s really a nit picky thing. I haven’t compared it to any of their other palettes so I don’t know how unique it is, but I think it makes a really great gift for a makeup junkie, girly girl or anyone who doesn’t have many neutral shadows yet.
What do you think, are you going to be getting this one?
