Wow it’s taken me quite awhile to get around to posting the limited edition Wet n Wild Be Jeweled collection for spring 2012!

Perhaps you are finally now seeing these in your local drugstores? I know it sometimes takes months after I post a WnW collection to show up, so hopefully I’m not teasing you now.

Be Jeweled is a limited collection of 5 mini bottles of glittery “gemstone” like shades. Kind of cute bottles, no? I like the asymmetrical caps for whatever reason. Makes them a little more interesting.

As far as formula, these are pretty nice. Not too thick or sticky, though they do feel a bit chunky.  I used two coats for all of them, which didn’t cover the nail completely.

Did you know that Merle Norman, established in 1931, is still around and now better than ever?

I’ve got memories of Merle Norman. In fact I think maybe my very first makeup memory is of this brand. My grandma had a tub of Merle Norman powder in her bathroom when I was a kid, and I remember always looking at it and smelling it. Wondering what it did. Eventually she gave it to me and I had it all the way through being a teen. I never really used it, it just sat on my desk. I like the way it looked.

They have a new limited edition spring collection out and I’ve got the Lip Polish in Mademoiselle for you, which is just one of twelve shades in this line.

New from Milani this year are eight new additions to their Color Perfect Lipstick range. These will be exclusive to CVS stores and hopefully out soon!

These lipsticks don’t look like that standard ones when you open the top. They are kind of geometric looking. Futuristic! They have a contoured tip for easier application and are super smooth and creamy on the lips. They feel very moisturizing and really comfortable. There is one thing though…

They have a very specific floral scent and taste. Very lipstick-y. So if you have an aversion to scent/taste, these might not be for you.

NYX Cosmetics Spring Fling Palette might be the perfect palette for those who love pale pastel shades in the spring and summer.

Spring Fling features twelve matte and pearl eyeshadows, two blushes, two lip glosses and highlight/contour powders. All of this comes wrapped up in a really pretty heavy cardboard palette with cherry blossoms on the cover and inside. It also has a nice large mirror.
