He Dreams of Bigger Things
I captured this shot of Chewy resting on a book I have called “Wolf Spirit of the Wild” and thought it was just a great picture. Clearly, Chewy dreams of bigger and better things than just being a house cat.

While up in the Napa Valley area a couple months ago, we drove past this old neighborhood and out of the corner of my eye I spotted this house through some trees. On our way back, I made the hubbie go down the street so I could take some pics. This is pretty much a run down version of my dream house. Gothic, old, beautiful and classic. It was fenced off and looked like it was going to either be moved or completely restored. And it was HUGE, there were out buildings on the property also. I dream of living in a house like this someday, but know unless I win the lottery, it ain’t gonna happen living in California!
Cupcakes. One of my favorite things on earth! I could stare at them all day long and eat them all day long. Occasionally I bake them, though I try not too that often because I wind up making a batch of 24 and eating like 18 of them myself! These are Madagascar vanilla cupcakes with vanilla butter cream frosting that I made and DAMN they were good!
This is an old building at San Francisco’s Presidio, which is now a U.S. National Park, but was an army base for over 200 years. The park is pretty large at almost 2,000 acres and there are 870 structures and 300 acres of historic forest. Now you can find businesses that work out of buildings here such as Lucasfilm, which is one of George Lucas’s companies as well as restaurants and even homes! Part of the Presidio includes Fort Point which is a very famous and scenic spot right under the Golden Gate bridge. Alfred Hitchcock chose this spot for a famous scene in the movie Vertigo.
Last summer on my way to the drrrrty South, we had a layover in Dallas. I was ridiculously excited just be in Texas because I’ve never been and you know, everything is bigger there! I saw this (and his wife) in a clothing store at the airport and had to take a pic. I completely love this for some reason and had it on my iPhone background for months. I think all mannequins should be cows!
