The photo above was taken by me last year around Christmas. It was my first attempt at “holiday bokeh”. I am totally obsessed with bokeh, I absolutely love it, and plan on trying a lot more this year when I get my tree up (this weekend)!

Happy, happy Friday all!
Who is excited that the weekend is upon us? I think this weekend I am going to be decorating my house for the holidays, minus the tree until next weekend.
I am really partial to a snugly blanket AND kitty on my lap! I love fires, but we removed our fireplace a few years ago to accommodate a large TV, so I don’t have one anymore. Well technically we do, we just pushed it into the wall and sheet-rocked over it so if we ever sell the next people can just open up the wall. Continue reading »
Are you still full from yesterday?
Today is a ridiculously insane shopping day here because of all the deals. Both online and in stores. People actually start camping out 2-3 days in advance in front of stores for good deals! There is pretty much nothing you can buy in a store that is even remotely worth me waiting in line for even a couple hours for. Maybe if they were giving away coupons for a house valued at $1 million dollars for $25,000 THEN I would wait. Otherwise, no way. Continue reading »

What are your plans this weekend? And no, that’s not the question of the week. Just curious.
I don’t know that I am doing much of anything exciting. I wanted to go see Immortals because I am obsessed with the way it looks. 300 is one of my favorite movies ever and this was done by the same Producer. Oh yeah and I’m also mildly obsessed with Charles Brandon Duke of Suffolk (real name Henry Cavill but he played Charles Brandon on The Tudors). But somehow I don’t think this movie will be appropriate for a 13 year old girl.
