Yep, it’s that day we all wait for again, Friday!
How was your week? Mine actually was ok, it went by fast anyway because of the holiday on Monday. And yes, I actually do take holidays even though I work from home! I need to in order to stay somewhat sane.

How was your week? Mine was COLD. It’s been unusually cold at night and in the morning in the Bay Area for about a week, which means 20′s and low 30′s. This isn’t normal and I am not a fan. Luckily the sun has also been coming out and it’s been blue skies at least. But brrrrr, I am not cut out for this arctic weather. I am sure many of you are chuckling as you look outside at a 5 foot snowbank and it’s minus 10 degrees. But remember, we are weather wimps in California.

Well winter is in full effect now, but you wouldn’t really know it just looking out the window here in the Bay Area. The last couple days it’s been really cold in the AM (20′s/30′s) but super sunny and clear. Blue skies abound!
TGIF! Are you still on a holiday vacation or back to the old grind?
Every year come January 1st I get on a major cleaning and organization spree. And I don’t just mean one drawer or room. I mean the ENTIRE house. This year was even more over the top than usual and I am in fact still going strong. For me January 1st mean the taking down and putting away of all holiday items. Quite frankly if I see them after the 1st it makes me a little nauseous because I am SO over Christmas by then.
But it’s not just about saying goodbye to the holidays for another year. It’s about a fresh start. A clean start. A clutter-free start. An orderly start. I am one of those people who have a really hard time concentrating when there is something amiss or cluttering the room I am in. In fact, if I know a pillow isn’t where it should be on the couch when I am in bed, I will get up and put it into place!
Can you believe it’s the last Friday before Christmas? TGIF!
Are you all prepared for the holiday festivities yet? I still have to figure out what appetizer and desserts I am going to make for Christmas. I also have to wrap everything (my least favorite thing to do). Have I ever told you Mr. VV is a PERFECT wrapper? I don’t know how he does it but seriously his packages look like they came from a factory they are so perfect. Mine on the other hand look like a dog wrapped them.
