Today I’ve got three neon nail colors from Spoiled by Wet n Wild.
Two of these are kind of like neon jellies. They apply sheer, yet build up and have that see-through jelly-like quality. One had some very unexpected and nice shimmer!
Spoiled Nail Color is a line by Wet n Wild and is sold exclusively at CVS. There are 72 (!!) shades in this line out now, which is pretty great.
The colors and finishes go from cremes, to neons, to shimmers to glitters. There are nudes, blues, greens, blacks and everything in-between!
Today I have four of the shimmery shades and soon, some of the neons.
One thing I will say is that the brushes that come with these are weird and frequently wonky. They are cut at a strange angle and some of them had super long brush strands sticking out that I had to yank out. Not the easiest brushes to work with but then again, they’re only $1.99 each so…you get what you pay for in this case.

These lacquers come in six new shades and are meant to be a one-coat super fast drying formula. The colors not shown are Black Swift (black), Jiffy Orange (bright orange) and Rapid Cherry (bright red).
For me none of these were really one-coaters. They were either too uneven to just do one coat or not quite as opaque as I would like. So I used two on all of them.
Yellow Whiz
Yellow Whiz is a bright cool yellow. I know it looks warm in this pic but in actuality, it’s cooler toned. Bright but not neon. Streaky, but not nearly as bad as a lot of yellow polishes out there are.
Jessica Heavy Petal is a new spring collection featuring six new shades.
This collection was inspired by the pink and purple colors of flowers in bloom, and definitely feels like a spring collection.
When I first saw the promo shots, I honestly thought this would be a snooze-fest collection filled with colors we have seen before. But I was really surprised when three of these, which I thought were cremes, wound up having amazing hidden shimmer in them.
Jessica Peacock Queen is a new collection of three iridescent and super shimmery nail colors.
These three nail colors may look very familiar to some of you. They are very similar to the Illusions d’ Ombre de Chanel collection from last fall. I think this collection was also supposed to be released last fall (the press release I have says fall ’11) but is just coming out in the US now.
These three colors may look like Chanel, but they are really pretty in their own right. And WAY less expensive!
