BB Couture Has Me Seeing Green!

BB Couture has added two fantastic greens to their recent avalanche of new colors. I am LOVING all these fabulous colors!! The application of these was great, I had no problems whatsoever. I have changed my pics a little. I decided that writing the name of the polish on the pic looks tacky and takes away from the picture so no more of that! I also made them slightly larger. Check ‘em out!

Venom

Venom is so cool! It’s an icy mint green that’s both metallic and shimmery at the same time. I definitely do not own any of green that looks like this, so that’s a huge extra plus in my book! Though it was metallic I didn’t have streaks. This was perfect in just two coats.

Zoya Nail Polish Exchange – Part I

Here begins a four part series of my Zoya exchanges. I exchanged 19 old polishes that I didn’t love for some spankin’ new Zoya’s, I mean who could resist that offer? So here we go with Part I, enjoy!

Zoya Addison copy Zoya Nail Polish Exchange Part I

Addison is kind of a strange color on me. It’s a flesh colored taupe-y pink with light gold shimmer. It looked super duper neutral on me, which is fine, but generally I like something with more *pizazz*. The application was great, as most Zoya’s are. This was three coats.

China Glaze Kicks for Summer 2009 – Part I

China Glaze has put out another giant collection of twelve polishes for summer 2009 called Kicks. Today I am bringing you the first part, which is my favorite collection. The application on these is most excellent. As almost all China Glaze polishes are, these are creamy, flow perfectly onto the nail and I had no bubbling or drag issues. For the most part these are very opaque in just two coats as well (BONUS)! Pics taken in sun with no top coat.

It’s Poppin’ is a very “cheery” pink shimmer that leans towards the red. It’s really pretty and bright, a perfect color for summer. This was two coats.

BB Couture Nail Polish

TGIF! BB Couture, which is rapidly becoming a favorite brand of mine, is coming out with some *SICK* new colors and I am showing you the latest ones today. Three of these I absolutely LOVE and two are nice but kind of strange for me. Pics taken in sun with no top coat.

BB Couture Blind Love copy BB Couture Nail Polish

Blind Love is a really great metallic gold/silver that has a foil like finish and a greenish tint to it. In the bottle the stuff looks totally weird and cool. It looks thick like molted metal. The color is somewhat like Chanel’s coveted Kaleidoscope, but this is slightly darker and a tinge more olive colored. That’s the closet dupe to it that I own. The polish is opaque and not streaky at all and this is only two coats.

Sephora by OPI Mermaid in the Shade Summer 2009 Collection

Sephora by OPI just put out their summer 2009 called Mermaid in the Shade that I am excited to show you today. The formula on all of these was really nice, I had no problems. Some were a bit sheer but that was remedied by an extra coat (or two). All pics taken in sun with no top coat.

Water Baby is a light silvery white color with a pearl effect and fine shimmer. This one went on very sheer as I had expected it would so I used three coats. It’s very pretty, though I think I have a lot of other colors like it.
