Dashing Diva Manhattan Collection – Part I

As you may already know, Dashing Diva has about 100 new polishes in their Manhattan collection which was released a couple months ago. I reviewed some back in December I believe and liked them a lot so I have some more to review!

I really love Dashing Diva, their colors are fabulous and they don’t stick to one “genre” like boring work colors or neutrals. Their formula is really spot on, I never have issues with them. There are two parts to this saga and part one which I am showing today is the more “classic” of the set. These are all variances on the color red and two in particular I really love. Pics taken in sun with no top coat.

Dashing Diva 5 Heels Dashing Diva Manhattan Collection Part I

5″ Heels is a really great bright orange/red shimmery frost. The shimmer is gold colored and very subtle. I think this polish would look great on a wide variety of skin tones because it’s kind of middle of the road in terms of cool and warm. This was three coats.

Dashing Diva Holiday 2008

No we have not gone back in time. I just received these since I believe they were sold out on their site for awhile. These are from Dashing Diva’s Holiday 2008 collection. Swatches in sun with no top coat.

A Silver LiningI wish that you could really see how cool this one is. The chunks of glitter in this are different sizes and shapes and it is way more “chunkier” than your average silver glitter polish. I could just not get the pics to show this. This is three coats here.

Dashing Diva Nail Polish

I have recently discovered Dashing Diva polish and so far am liking it a lot. I showed you their new colors last week and after I saw how nice they were, I decided to pick up some older ones and test ‘em out. I only have a formula issue with one of them, which I will talk about below. Pics taken in sun with no top coat.

Rosario PistachioThis is my favorite one, of course. So it’s not an olive green, but definitely an off the wall, not your average green! It seems like a metallic almost from the pic, but really it has very fine shimmer throughout. The name is right on, it’s definitely what I would call a pistachio green, though it does have a lot of yellow in it as well. This is two coats.
