Dashing Diva Holiday 2008
No we have not gone back in time. I just received these since I believe they were sold out on their site for awhile. These are from Dashing Diva’s Holiday 2008 collection. Swatches in sun with no top coat.

A Silver Lining

No we have not gone back in time. I just received these since I believe they were sold out on their site for awhile. These are from Dashing Diva’s Holiday 2008 collection. Swatches in sun with no top coat.

I have had some of the China Glaze OMG collection sitting around waiting to be swatched for some time now and finally got around to it this weekend. As you probably already know, these are holographic and super uber fabulous! I didn’t get the whole collection, only the five that appealed to me the most. I did three coats on all of these because I like the color to be really saturated, but you can get away with only two. Pics taken in sun with no top coat.

Happy Friday! The nice folks over at butter London sent me their Holiday 2008 sets to try out. I really like their polish. I know a lot of you feel it’s too expensive and you don’t know a lot about them, but I really believe in them and their collection. I absolutely LOVE the witty names of the colors and they definitely have some colors you will not see anywhere else. My only complaint, which I have mentioned before, is that the bottle shape is very hard to work with. For me it’s hard to get a really good grasp on the brush with that rectangle shape and then the top doesn’t want to go back on the bottle smoothly either, which creates a bit of a mess. It’s nice aesthetically, but not practical…Anyway I am only showing three of the four colors they sent because I already have and swatched one of them (Chancer). Pics taken in sun (when it came out for 10 seconds today) and with no top coat.

As promised, here are the warm colors from the China Glaze Romantique collection. Personally I liked the cool set a bit better because I am fair and some of these don’t mesh as well with my skin tone, but they are still pretty. All were only two coats and again all had really nice application and pigmentation. Pictures taken in sunlight with no top coat.

I finally ordered a bunch of Misa polishes since I had been coveting them on other bloggers sites for awhile. Overall I was very impressed with both the quality and colors of their polishes. I will definitely be ordering more from Misa and am excited that I discovered a new brand for myself! My pictures are all taken in sunlight with no top coat.
