The Cult Nails Dance All Night Polish Collection is new and features six shades, three of them cremes and three are glitters.

I kind of love how each of the cremes seems to have a glitter that “matches” or goes with it. Obviously you can mix and match to your heart’s content, but I like the idea of pairing them.

Right now the shades are part of a preview sale going on until May 18th 11:59 pm, EST. During the sale you can get them all for $60.00, and afterwards it will be $72.00. The polishes will be for sale individually after the preview sale for $12.00 each.

Nicole by OPI Gumdrops is a new collection including six textured shades.

This limited edition collection features a shimmery sugar-like texture, glittery bits, and a matte finish. Some have more obvious glitter in them, making them stand out. Some have more of that fine sugar or sand like appearance.

The formula was pretty good for all of these. All of these covered nicely with just two coats. They dry quicker than a normal polish and do feel a bit gritty to the touch, as textured polishes will. If you want to keep the matte effect, no top coat!

Good morning!

This Tuesday AM I’ve got two shades from a brand called Windestine for ya. Windestine Frozen Wilderness and Secret Garden are glittery shades perfect for layering.

This is my first experience with the brand and I was impressed with these. I didn’t need to tear a rotator cuff shaking them up to get a good amount of glitter on the nail with each coat. One is suspended in a clear base so it’s definitely best layered but the other has a milky base, so it could be used on its own.

As an FYI, the shade Secret Garden has a version that comes with hearts in it, but I don’t have that one.

The Duri Once Upon a Dream Summer 2013 Collection features six new pastel creme shades. You might think this looks more spring-like, and I agree but this is what they said about the collection.

The whimsical palette of soft shades bring summer to life with colors that embody clear skies, pink sunsets, carnivals and carousels. Duri Cosmetics Founder Faina Ritz said, “The pigment-rich pastel palette isn’t meant to put you to sleep, but to dream big for long-lasting summer days and temperate nights.”

There is something really soothing to me when I look at these shades all together. So pleasing to my eye! Soft, milky, creamy and soft. The formula while creme and pastel-like was pretty good with most, if not a bit streaky. They were 2-3 coats, depending.

Orly Mash Up for Summer 2013 is literally just that. A mash up of colors and finishes. There isn’t anything necessarily “cohesive” about this collection except it’s all very different. And I like it!

Cremes with iridescent shimmer, deep jewel-toned chrome, holographic glitter, screaming neon. This collection has it all!
