Hi Internet! Precision is a brand of polish I just tried for the first time and I think I might be hooked…This collection is their spring 2009 collection called Color FX. It’s a really great group of bright festive colors and not a boring one to be had here. The application was different depending on which color, so I’ll make notes of that below. Evening peeps! Hope you are having a fun filled Saturday night! I had a great time in Napa today, the weather was so awesome. I ate a wonderful meal and went to an authentic European castle/winery in Calistoga (I want to share some pics with you of this so check for a new post soon!). Also got a wee bit of shopping in and got a ROCKIN leather Coach purse for $100 bucks at the outlet stores, yay! Ok enough about that, I also managed to do some swatching of Barielle’s new collection called Sugar Rush for summer. It’s totally gorgeous and I LOVE each and every color. It’s my favorite summer collection so far! Unless otherwise noted, the formula was really great on all of these. All pics taken in sun with no top coat.
TGIF! I have to admit, I tend to think of drug store nail polish as being “less than” other polishes. I do not know why, it’s just ingrained in my head for some reason. I think part of the blame can be placed on the bottle shape. Generally I don’t think the bottle shapes look “sophisticated” and they mostly lean towards looking like the 80′s to me, but I AM starting to open my eyes, look past the bottles and am finding some awesome polishes. In this case Rimmel’s new 60 Seconds colors for spring. Pics taken in sun and shade with no top coat. FYI the top pics are my old watermarked format and the other two are the newer one.
Evening folks! So my friend from Singapore who sent me the Stage and Make Up Store polishes also sent me one from a company in China called Majolica Majorca and one from Japan called Canmake. My reviews are under the pics, which are taken in the sun with no top coat.
EDIT: I am sorry, I am losing my mind! I blame it on the fact that I am in pain from a herniated disk and on medication. I was incorrect in stating that The Asian Girl sent me these polishes. It was in fact another lovely person in Singapore. I totally apologize for the error and feel like a horse’s ARSE! However having said that The Asian Girl still rocks, LOL!
Hello Internet! Today I am bringing you two totally awesome polishes from lands far, far away (from me at least)! These were both gifted to me by a lovely nail blogger called The Asian Girl (her blog called Gettin’ Nailed is here). It always amazes me how nice people can be, thanks SO MUCH for these! She sent me two others as well, which I will show in another post. All the info is under the pics and the pics were taken in sun and shade with no top coats. You will notice that I got rid of the colored border and my watermark in my pics. I just felt they were distracting and pointless and I am trying to be more minimal, hope you like!
