Wet n Wild Color Icon Brow Pencil and Color Icon Brow Shaper are new items in stores now, let’s check them out shall we?
First off the Color Icon Brow Pencils. These short little dual-ended pencils come in four shades and have a creamy color on one end and a spoolie for shaping on the other end. Color Icon Brow Shaper is a clear pencil with beeswax, carnauba wax and castor oil which all help brows stay in place and give them moisture. It’s a great product to finish off the brows with because it helps hold the shape and keeps any strays in check.
Blonde Moments is a warm-toned taupe.
Ginger Roots is a warm-toned reddish/taupe with small amounts of shimmer (why??)
Brunettes Do It Better is a cool-toned dark brown.
Black Ops is a cool-toned greyish black.
These were waaaaaaaay creamier than I expected them to be. Especially because I swatched them right after I swatched another brand’s eye pencils, which were super hard. They are actually too creamy for my tastes. They nearly crumble apart if you press too hard and I don’t like to go too heavy-handed on the brows lest I look all crazy. I don’t know if I have ever said that a brow pencil was TOO pigmented before! But anyway, I tried out Blonde Moments in my brows and I did like how the spoolie does a great job of spreading the pencil color more evenly and naturally across my brow hairs. They don’t do that annoying blurry thing that some brow pencils do which makes your brows look like an undefined mess. You can actually work with them, which is good. Still none of these shades worked for me because Blonde Moments, which is my best shade, is too warm for my tastes.
As far as the Brow Shaper, I kind of love it! It’s super silky and smooth and glides really easily across brow hairs. It doesn’t pick up any of the color already deposited on my brows and it keeps everything in place nicely without feeling or looking oily.
These are all $1.99 and available in stores now.
