Happy Friday afternoon folks!

I hope you are off (or almost off) to a great Easter weekend start!

I have six more of the newly reformulated Urban Decay Eyeshadows for ya now. As my previous post mentions, these are now more velvety smooth, easier to blend and have excellent color payoff. These are really nice eyeshadows, and in six colors for some crazy reason I didn’t have before!

Urban Decay New (Revamped) Eyeshadows! Swatches, Photos & Review

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Urban Decay New (Revamped) Eyeshadows! Swatches, Photos & Review

Guess what? Urban Decay has reformulated their eyeshadows! They now come in 68 shades and you can buy them either as single or in a 6-piece palette.

Not only did they reformulate them to be super soft, velvety and opaque, about half of them were previously only available in palettes.

These new shadows are longer lasting, easier to blend and have a smoother finish and feel. They also come in a new gunmetal case which you can use on it’s own or easily pop out (without using the flat iron method!) to add into their palette.

Five of the shadows I have for you today were previously only in palettes, and they are: Kush, Pistol, Rockstar, Lost and Zephyr.

Urban Decay 24/7 Concealer Pencils for Spring 2012 Swatches & Review

Urban Decay 24 7 Concealer Pencils Urban Decay 24/7 Concealer Pencils for Spring 2012 Swatches & Review

TGIF!

I *may* have found my holy grail concealer in the Urban Decay 24/7 Concealer Pencils!

I have had a long hate/hate relationship with concealer. I’ve tried so many brands and types from creams, to pencils, to liquids to powders and nothing made me happy for more than a short time period. Even tried a myriad of “potions” under the eye to prime it before concealing and nothing lasted long.

The main problem I have with concealer is I am, ahem, at that age where I have a lot of fine lines under my eye area. Concealers tend to immediately gravitate into those lines, settling and making me look older, rather than well rested and bright-eyed. No bueno!

These pencils aren’t new per-se, they actually are the same ones they’ve had, but in new packaging and they added four new darker shades. They are however new to me since I’ve never tried them!

They come in eight different shades now, from very light to a deep cocoa. They contain Vitamin E, are long-wearing, creamy, tug-free, thick but not too thick, and blend easily into the skin. Seriously you barely have to press them onto your skin and they glide right over it. They’re also formulated with Microsponge, which is a technology that absorbs excess oils throughout the day.

  • CIA – very light/creamy ivory
  • DEA – light/peaches and cream
  • FBI – light medium/beige
  • NSA – medium/beige
  • ATF – medium dark/golden beige
  • DOD – dark/warm tan
  • KGB – darker/olden caramel
  • MI6 – deepest/cocoa
