It’s finally October, which means I can show you my cute Halloween swatches! If you read my “teaser” post here then you would know how much I love Halloween! I am featuring Wet n Wild’s Fantasy Makers colors in Black Pearl and Black Magic. I am also featuring some other unmarked polishes that were right next to the Wet n Wild ones in a rose shaped bottle (they could be Wet n Wild but am having problems confirming this). My hubbie discovered these yesterday in the Halloween aisle at Walgreen’s and got them for me (isn’t he nice?). Really the bottle itself is the best part, but the red actually turned out to be a pretty color. Anyhoo my reviews are below each picture, as usual. Happy Hauntings!
Black Pearl – Indoor
I was actually quite surprised at the opaqueness of this black. I could have almost gotten away with 1 coat but used 2. This is a nice smooth shiny jet black creme and for a buck, who can complain?
Black Magic over Black Pearl – Indoor
Black Magic is really just clear polish with tons of different colored confetti in it. It wasn’t that spectacular on it’s own, so I featured it over Black Pearl and it looks pretty darn cool!
Unnamed red rose – Sun
This is the cutest bottle ever! Shaped like like a beautiful red rose with stem and all! The color wasn’t bad either, it’s a slightly orange based red with a lot of gold-ish shimmer. And considering the price, the formula was pretty decent as well. This definitely makes me stop and smell the…well you get the point!
Unnamed black rose – Sun
Not much to write about here, it’s a basic shiny jet black again in the extremely adorable rose shaped bottle. The brush on this one was cut strangely so it was a bit hard to apply but it was smooth and almost totally opaque in 1 coat.
A pair of roses
Vamp it up!
