It sloughs away all those pesky dead skin cells but makes your face feel nice and soft at the same time. It’s not harsh, not drying and smells divine, like a fruit salad!

This afternoon I’ve got theBalm Shady Lady and Shady Lady Vol. 2 swatches for ya! If interested in seeing swatches of Shady Lady Vol. 3, see here, I swatched it awhile ago.
the Shady Lady palettes all offer nine eyeshadow/liner shades enclosed in a cardboard palette with a large mirror inside. All have a different cute funky animal print on the outside. There is just one repeating shade in these two, which is great!
All swatches are done over a primer and I got great payoff. They feel soft, easy to apply and are pretty and shimmery (no mattes in these).

Matt(e) is 6’2″, has blue eyes, and enjoys long walks on the beach, creamy eyeshadows and fabulous liners. At least that’s according to his bio on the back of his eyeshadow palette.

Now as I wrote this and look at theBalm’s new website I realize I don’t see this palette listed as being for sale anymore. I do see a newer version of Meet Matt(e) in Nude! This one features nine shades also, a mirror and nine different nude matte shades than this one.

I know, I know, the 50% off sale is over so why am I posting this now? Well actually I have a ton of theBalm products that I want to share with you, sale or nay! I just couldn’t possibly get them all done in time beforehand. Having said that, I think these products are worth paying FULL price for. So there! 
If you know anything about me yet, and I hope you do, you know I am a sucker for a rose scent. Total sucker. I love it. I could sniff it all day long. I would eat anything scented with it if that were possible. Well I guess technically it is possible, but…no.

Balmbini Vol. 2 is a palette that opens from the middle. Inside you will find a mirror, highlighter, black shadow/liner, three colored shadow/liners, a lip/cheek cream and lip gloss.
