Sheswai Nail Lacquer for Spring 2013 Swatches & Review

Sheswai Nail Lacquer Spring 2013

Sheswai Nail Lacquer has three new shades out for spring 2013, and I’ve got two of them for ya today!

As you may already know, or can tell just by looking, Sheswai has some seriously cute bottles. I think they are the prettiest out there actually. I love the design on the front, but even more so, I love the bottle caps, which are made from sustainably harvested wood grown on family farms. And they are big-three free and cruelty-free to boot!

Sheswai Fuckyeah Lacquer Swatches (I Promise That’s the Name!)

Sheswai Fuckyeah

Want a really good excuse to use some potty-mouth in a very legitimate way? Then tell someone you want Sheswai Fuckyeah Nail Lacquer. 😀

No really I’m not making the name up, and I have proof below. This might be one of the best, if not the best nail polish name ever.

Fuckyeah is a super bright, nearly neon purple/fuchsia creme. It’s new for summer 2012 and limited edition.

Sheswai Lacquer Spring/Summer Collection Swatches & Review

Have you heard of Sheswai Lacquer yet? I reviewed them awhile back and now they have three new colors out for spring/summer.

Sheswai is big-3 free and the caps are made from sustainably harvested wood from family owned tree farms. In fact, they are the first ones in the industry to use this type of cap, reducing the need for plastic. Not only are they eco-conscious, the caps are really nice, and possibly my favorite ones from any brand!

Oh and did you see how pretty the design on the front of the bottle is?

Sheswai Lacquer Swatches & Review

Have you heard of Sheswai Lacquer? I hadn’t until one of my readers turned me onto them recently.

Sheswai Lacquer is a company that was started by a California manicurist, named Debbie. For years she worked in some of the best salons & spas in Los Angeles, then in 2007 started doing manicures for fashion shows, magazines, film & television and the red carpet. Soon Debbie realized that she wanted to create something of her own, so she created Sheswai Lacquer.

Right now Sheswai has only 7 colors, what they call “the basics”. But here’s what drew me to them immediately. The bottle caps are made from sustainably harvested wood which is grown on family owned farms. That is SO cool! Not only are they responsible, they are very pretty and unlike any other polishes I can think of. Sheswai is also big-three free.

The formula for these was really nice. They were on the thick side, but not sticky or hard to apply. They were very opaque in just two coats.
