NYX Cosmetics Spring Fling Palette might be the perfect palette for those who love pale pastel shades in the spring and summer.
Spring Fling features twelve matte and pearl eyeshadows, two blushes, two lip glosses and highlight/contour powders. All of this comes wrapped up in a really pretty heavy cardboard palette with cherry blossoms on the cover and inside. It also has a nice large mirror.

If you know me at all and have been reading my blog for awhile you know I am a HUGE Tim Burton fan. Love, love, love, love him. Want to live inside his movies. When I heard a year or so ago that he was making Dark Shadows (a 70′s TV series) into a movie with Johnny Depp (of course) I must admit I was super excited.
When I finally started seeing previews recently at first I thought it looked REALLY overly campy and lame. But I have totally changed my tune because I love the entire cast (Johnny Depp, Eva Green, Helena Bonham Carter, Michelle Pfeiffer) and the makeup and costumes look totally fabulous.
Then I heard NYX was coming out with The Crimson Amulet Collection, which is a giant makeup palette inspired by the movie. I knew I needed to see this sucker in person!

This palette features 24 eyeshadows both shimmery and matte, 4 blushes, 1 bronzer, an illuminator, an eyeshadow base, a liquid eyeliner and four lipglosses. The colors run the gamut from jewel-toned to subtle and natural.

This spring NYX Roll On Shimmers are all about color for eyes, face and body.
These loose powders come in a hard plastic tube with a roller applicator. There are sixteen colors in all, and all leave you with a whole lotta shimmery color!
If using as an eyeshadow (which is the only way I would ever use them), you can use directly from the roller, however it can get a bit messy that way! I prefer to roll some onto my hand then use either my finger or a small brush to pat it on my eye. Using a shadow primer definitely helps it stick to your lid better.
There will be fallout. Oh yes. There always is with loose powders, but it’s not that hard to clean up (or do it before all your other makeup).

NYX Cosmetics has some super cute and fun new check colors out this spring called Stick Blush.
Stick Blushes come in eight new shades. They are a long-lasting cream blush in a small twist-up tube.
The shades include: Magnolia, Pink Lotus, Hibiscus, Tulip, Tea Rose, Orchid, Water Lily and Pink Poppy.
