Nails Inc Crushed Diamonds Winter Mews

Nails Inc Crushed Diamonds Winter Mews

Whilst heavily guarding my wallet at Sephora in case some really expensive makeup item tried to lure me in, I caught a glimpse of something magical and sparkly that I couldn’t take my eyes off of. It was called Nails Inc Crushed Diamonds Winter Mews.

Now normally a silver nail polish is pretty much completely uninteresting to me. I have seen them ALL (or so I feel like) and I can’t even remember the last time I bought one. But this was different. This really did look like iridescent crushed up silvery diamonds. And then I picked up the bottle, which is a new style for Nails Inc, and I was sold. SOLD! Give me something heavy and expensive feeling and I swear that is the tipping point for me. Plus the cap comes off for easier painting, so yeah. Love.

nails inc. Latex Effect Swatches and Review

nails inc. Latex Effect

You know me and textured nail polish by now, right? I always want to check out the new, evolving types and see if they are any good. I first saw the nails inc. Latex Effect shades on the Sephora website and I was most definitely intrigued.

These limited edition polishes come in four shades including Shoreditch High Street (hot pink), Portobello Road (light pink), Camden Passage (light taupe) and Bermondsey Street (aqua blue).

The texture is quite interesting. It applies on the thicker side and looks glossy, but soon dries into this latex/waxy-like look and feel. Because it’s so thick I did have some issues when adding a second coat. I got bald spots near the cuticles so I had to kind of go back and try to smooth them out. It doesn’t seem like it likes more than one coat, but I felt I needed two to get the best coverage.

Nail Inc. Concrete Nail Polish in London Wall

Nails Inc Concrete in London Wall

Nails Inc. has four new shades of their “Concrete” finish nail polish out and I recently picked one of them up to try out.

I wanted to try London Wall because to me it actually looked like the shade most similar to real concrete. And I love the idea of concrete nails! The other shades are Monument (lime green), Stonehenge (cobalt blue) and Marble Arch (tomato red).

The cap is finished with the texture as well, which I like. It helps differentiate your bottles in your stash easily!

Nails Inc. Leather Effect Nail Polish in Dalston and Old Compton Street

Nails Inc. Leather Effect

Nails Inc. Leather Effect Nail Polish in Dalston and Old Compton Street are two of the five new shades at Sephora with this leather-like textured finish.

Naturally I was highly intrigued because I looooove textured polish right now and I loooooove leather (and fake leather) as well!

The current shades include: Clerkenwell (buff), Ladbroke Grove (pink coral), Dalston (pale blue), Old Compton Street (grey) and Noho (black), which I previously reviewed as a set they had. I HIGHLY recommend Noho if you love black and textured polish because it’s quite awesome.

I like that the caps all have a leather-like texture and look to them.

Nails Inc. Leather Effect Nail Polish in Noho

Nails Inc Leather Effect in Noho

Nails Inc. Leather Effect Nail Polish in Noho is new(ish) and super, super cool if you like textured polish.

This shade is limited edition and comes in a set called Bling It On Rebel, which includes the full-sized polish as well as silver skull embellishments and studs and crystals (with glue and orange stick to apply everything).

Nothing interested me in the kit except the polish itself, so here she is on her glorious own.
