So you know how I just wrote this post all about using sunscreen and protecting yourself from the sun? Well if you still insist on becoming a bronzed beauty in the hotter months, do it the safe way with the new limited edition Milani TANtastic Face & Body Baked Bronzer.

These marbled baked bronzers come in two shades: Fantastic Illuminator and Fantastic Summer’s Kiss. They contain macadamia and jojoba oils that are supposed to keep skin hydrated and soft.

They come in a plastic compact that opens up two ways. The top lid swings out towards the right so you can get to the product. Then the bottom swings out to the left to reveal the applicator brush in a hidden spot below. Also on the bottom of the compact if you remove the clear plastic label there is a mirrored surface beneath!

12 Hr Wear Eyeshadows are a fat pencil which you can use as a eye liner or eye shadow. They are super creamy, easy to blend and fun to use! They are water-resistant and paraben-free as well. They sharpen easily with either the Milani sharpener or another type made for fat pencils (I love the one from Urban Decay).

Milani Grandissimo Lashes Incredible Volume Mascara is a new product out now that says it creates a false lash effect. Hmm.

This is a volumizing formula with a really gigantic brush. It’s smudge-proof and non-clumping. But did it live up to the name for me?

So here’s the deal. For many years I lived with greasy lids. I’m talking greasy, oily, eyeshadow would crease within 1 hour lids. And I mean for YEARS. We’re talking like TWENTY YEARS!

Believe it or not until not that long ago there were pretty much NO eyeshadow primers on the market here. I remember one time maybe 8-10 years ago trying the only one I could ever find, I think it was from L’Oreal. And it did pretty much nothing at all.

Finally when Urban Decay Primer Potion came out it was like the skies opened up and I was transported to Heaven. And not only was it easy to find, it worked like crazy! No creasing in 14-18 hours for me. The only thing I disliked was that damn genie shaped bottle and applicator which has since been fixed.

These liners are called “Liquid Eye” for a reason. They are SUPER creamy and smooth, similar to a liquid type of liner. But they aren’t actually exactly the same. They are smudge-proof and very long-lasting however, and very easy to blend until they set.
