L’Occitane Roses et Reines Collection

L'Occitane Roses et Reines

Launching on July 30th is the L’Occitane Roses et Reines collection.

This limited edition collection features ten pieces all scented with rose extract from Provence, France. The Rose 4 Reines range (now called Roses et Reines) was created 10 years ago and is enhanced by a unique rose extract from Haute-Provence, obtained by enfleurage. What the heck is that, you ask? Enfleurage consists of extracting the freshness of the natural essence of flowers as soon as they are harvested. This process is particularly suitable for the rose which is extremely delicate. They have a patent pending for this process.

L’Occitane Au Bresil Jenipapo Review

LOccitane Jenipapo

Ready to hit the beach with some great new SPF products?

With the FIFA World Cup going on now and the Summer Olympics in 2016, I’ve been hearing a lot about Brazil lately. The new L’Occitane Au BrĂ©sil Jenipapo collection celebrates Brazil and it’s great for a beach vacation there or heck, even in your own backyard in suburbia, U.S.A. if you can’t get there. I wish I could!

There are a bunch of new items in the Jenipapo collection and I have three for you now. But first, what the heck is Jenipapo? It’s a fruit tree from Cerrado which is a tropical savanna eco-region in Brazil. It produces succulent orange-sized fruits, which smell divine!

Five Oil Treatments I’m Loving

Oil Treatments

Here is something I never thought I would say: I love oils on my skin lately!

See I’ve never been much of an oil person. I always assumed putting oil on my skin (aside from cuticle oil) would turn me into a slime-slicked, pimple-faced greaseball. Boy was I wrong.

Up until recently, really the only kind of oil I ever used on my skin was cuticle oil. I have about a bajillion of them. But I have been really into balms and creams more than oils in the last year or two, so I wasn’t using cuticle oil that much. Now I am back into the oils, mainly because of the condition of my nails.

L’Occitane Almond Milk Concentrate and Supple Skin Oil

LOccitane Amande

Luxury. That’s the first word that comes to mind when I see/smell/use L’Occitane Almond Milk Concentrate and Supple Skin Oil. Luxury.

If you haven’t yet caught a whiff of this divine amande or almond line, you simply must! I can’t even describe the scent. It’s like a creamy, milky almond scent with a hint of chamomile or something. SO hard to describe but it’s light and really nice.

Here is some info about the almond line for those who are interested. The almond trees start blooming in early spring and are covered with little white flowers. L’Occitane waits until October for the blossoms to transform into fruit. The almond nut grows inside a green velvety shell and it’s known for softening and smoothing out skin. They get all their almonds from the South of France.

L’Occitane Almond Delicious Hands

LOccitane Almond Delicious Hands

L’Occitane Almond Delicious Hands is a lotion that I fell madly in love with in the recent past.

This lotion, which comes in a little tube that looks like a paint tube, is enriched with almond milk and almond oil. It makes hands very soft and smells SO GOOD. They say it smells like fresh almonds, but I also smell something else more earthy. I can’t place it, but it’s amazing and delicious, but a bit strong.
