The Kat Von D True Romance Eyeshadow Palette in Ladybird (anyone watch King of the Hill?) is the latest palette from the brand and when I recently had a 20% off promo, I knew I needed it.

I didn’t buy it because it looked that interesting or unique though. I bought it because I am OBSESSED with collecting these for some random reason! I feel this overwhelming urge to posses these palettes before I even look at the colors inside. Ah well, at least I don’t do this with any other palettes.

Ladybird features eight matte shadows as well as a mini Autograph Pencil liner in Immortal Love (dark brown).

I do not know how the Kat Von D Painted Love Lipstick in Backstage Bambi ever escaped my eagle eye for bright pink lipsticks, but it did. Until recently.

I was aware of the Foiled Love Liquid Lipstick version of it, which I swatched here and was none too impressed with because of the oh-so-80′s finish. But this, THIS is what I’m talkin’ about!

Love these tubes with the clear bottom so you can see the actual color inside.

You know how I find it really hard to resist a Kat Von D Eyeshadow Palette? Well now I’m having a hard time resisting her new Everlasting Face Shaper Blush shades!

These new blushes come in seven super tempting shades. They are meant to be very long-lasting, buildable colors, and nicely pigmented.

• Heartagram – Deep rose
• Essex – Cool rose
• Truth – Natural flush pink
• Por Vida – Warm pink
• Bellisima – Peach pink
• Wish – Nude peach with subtle shimmer
• Love Song – Bright pink with subtle shimmer

So after grabbing two, then three, then back to two, then four then down to one, I decided on Por Vida.

New and exclusive to Sephora are the Kat Von D Foiled Love Liquid Lipsticks.

These lipstick/lip gloss hybrids come in four new shades:

• Forever & Never – Shimmery light bronze
• Backstage Bambi – Bright pink
• Adora – Bright red
• Hellbent – Deep red

The texture of these initially is like a thick wet gloss. But then they dry quickly and appear more like a lipstick. A metallic “foiled” lipstick. I thought Backstage Bambi was going to be perfect for me because I love hot pink lips. However the finish left me feeling a little more 1985 than I prefer…
