Karma Organic Nail Polish

Karma Organic is a cosmetics line that’s new to me. They are actually a spa that’s “dedicated to creating an eco-friendly environment with organic products as a healthy alternative for your beauty needs”. They have a line of nail care (among other products) that includes over 50 different nail polish colors, so I thought I would try a few out.

The polishes are big three free which means they do not contain three of the most toxic chemicals in some polishes which are Toluene, Formaldehyde and DBP. They also have an interesting looking polish remover which is biodegradable, 100% soy and corn based, non-toxic, non-carcinogenic, packaged in 100% recyclable glass bottles and comes in different formulas: lavender, tea tree or unscented. I definitely will be trying these out soon! Pics taken in sun with no top coat, enjoy!

Midnight Passion is a very pretty purple color with tiny specks of pink and blue shimmer. The polish isn’t as “blurple” as it looks here, for some reason this one wanted to show it’s blue side! The polish itself was a little thick and I had to take a minute extra between coats or it tended to do the cuticle drag thing. But no worries, it turned out gorgeous! This was three coats.
