Another eyebrow review coming ‘atcha with the new Jordana FabuBrow Eyebrow Pencils.
These new pencils have what they call a creamy, long-lasting formula and they can be sharpened. On the cap there is a little brush to help blend them in, which is always handy. The choice of only having three shades to choose from is fairly limiting, but they are inexpensive so you could always just try them and not be out much if they didn’t work for you.
Please ignore the ever-present dog hair in the photo above. 😉
Light Taupe is a light cool-toned taupe.
Soft Brown is a light warm-toned brown/tan.
Midnight Brown is a medium slightly warm-toned brown.
When I first swatched these they were SO hard! Like really hard, and not easy to get decent payoff from. I was thinking they would be awful on the brows. But actually after initially using them and kind of “warming them up” they worked just fine in my brows. I tried out Light Taupe and was pleasantly surprised how easily it applied without any tugging at all. And I used the little brush that comes on the cap to blend everything in and it looked pretty decent. Light Taupe, happily, isn’t warm looking on me so the color itself is a great match for what I like as well. I personally find working with pencils harder than working with an eyebrow powder just because I have to be more precise, and I am definitely not a brow whiz. One of my brows is shaped completely differently from the other one and I find matching them up nearly impossible. But I do like that these are long pencils, so there is a lot of product, you can sharpen them, they come with a brow brush and they are inexpensive and easy to find in stores!
These are available at Walgreens and are $2.99 each.
Are you going to try these out?
