I think this is kind of a fitting nail varnish to show on Halloween. It’s Illamasqua Hemlock from their Freak Collection!

This is the only nail shade in the Freak Collection and it’s limited edition.

The color of Hemlock reminds me of an opal ring I once had when I was in my teens. The color is a beautiful green iridescent that changes depending on the lighting. It’s great for layering as well.

Illamasqua released another shade of their Precision Ink liquid liner with the Theatre of the Nameless collection this fall.

This color is called Havoc and it’s a super dark aubergine.

If you haven’t used their Precision Ink before here’s what you need to know.

This stuff is waterproof. And when I say waterproof I MEAN IT. If you mess up applying it, it’s not easy to fix so that has always kind of scared me because precise, I am not.

Illamasqua is one of my favorite nail polish brands for a few reasons.

Their formula is almost always fantastic. I love the colors they come out with. I love the bottle shape. I love the logo. I love the whole idea behind the brand. I love that they are now sold at Sephora. I love that the square caps come off for easy application. I love that they are British! I love their PR; they know how to work with bloggers and are really nice!

So with that said, I thought I would do a post showing every single Illamasqua varnish I own. Actually these photos were taken before I received the latest three from the Fall 2011 collection so there are three missing from the photos, but I included them in the swatches below.

I have swatches of every one of them except DWS, which I bought but never took photos of for some reason.

My favorite Illamasqua colors are Snap, Radium, Baptiste, Taint, Milf, Hectic, Faux Pas, Viridian, Phallic, Scarab, Poke, Bacterium, Throb and Obsess.

I have NO idea what that means, but I love the sound of it!

Theatre of the Nameless is the new fall 2011 makeup collection from Illamasqua and as usual, they have put out some incredible colors as well as amazing artistic makeup looks, all done by Alex Box.

The collection features 4 new nail varnish colors all with what they call a waxy “rubber-look” finish. I heard “rubber”and I was SUPER excited to test them out in person! Turns out they really aren’t rubber-like in my eyes, but more waxy or satin-like. NOT matte at all, though so don’t worry about that.

The other cool thing about this collection is the rubber cap, which is a departure from the regular shiny, slick cap. I love it!
