Hourglass has a new product out this spring called Ambient Lighting Powder. What the heck is an Ambient Lighting Powder? Well here’s the scoop: they are finishing powders that help capture, diffuse and soften the way light is reflected on your skin. They use photoluminescent technology, which means they use transparent micro-sized color-correcting particles that emulate the appearance of younger, healthier skin. They help you glow from within!

These are also paraben-free, gluten-free, talc-free and fragrance-free and come in six types:

DIFFUSED LIGHT: A soft, warm, pale yellow powder. Light your skin with DIFFUSED LIGHT to reduce redness and give skin clarity – like a soft ray of morning light.

ETHEREAL LIGHT: An opalescent sheer, cool white powder. Light your skin with ETHEREAL LIGHT to mimic a moonlit glow – even in broad daylight.

RADIANT LIGHT: A sun-kissed golden beige powder. Light your skin with RADIANT LIGHT to extend a summer glow, or enhance the overall complexion with believable, subtle, warmth.

MOOD LIGHT: A soft, sheer lavender pink powder. Light your skin with MOOD LIGHT to mimic the softest most forgiving light and reveal your brightest complexion.

DIM LIGHT: A neutral peach beige powder. Light your skin with DIM LIGHT to blur imperfections and highlight a radiant complexion with the perfect balance of warm and cool tones.

Hourglass has a couple new items out for fall and holiday 2012 and I’ve got some of them for ya this afternoon.

Film Noir Kohl Pencils are new for fall and come in two shades (Espresso and Eclipse) and are a long-wearing eye liner for lining the inner and outer eye. They come in a really long pencil which almost looks like a chopstick, and they also include a cap with a sharpener built in.

New for the holiday season is a lip set called Icon which features a gorgeous classic red shade in various formulas such as Femme Rouge Velvet Creme Lipstick, Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipstick, Extreme Sheen High Shine Lip Gloss (new), and Panoramic Long Wear Lip Pencil (new).

New this fall from Hourglass are nine shades of Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipsticks.

Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipstick is a full coverage lipstick that comes in a tube like a lip gloss. It has a soft sponge applicator, and gives a soft velvety matte finish to your lips.

While they may be matte-esque, they don’t feel dry or chalky at all. They include conditioning emollients (for moisture) Cili Fruit, Goji Berry extracts (for anti-oxidant protection) and Vitamins A, C and E (to help nourish).

Hourglass No. 28 Primer Serum is a multi-purpose, hydrating, anti-aging serum that is suited for all skin types.
