GAP Nail Polish Swatches and Review

GAP Nail Polish

As you may or may not already know, GAP nail polish is a thing. I think they only sell it in North America and in-stores only though, which makes me feel bad for all those who can’t get their hands on it! But alas, I have some swatches of some that I recently picked up anyway.

You already saw Bright Pool in my post where I compared it to Rescue Beauty Lounge Aqua Lily and found it was a dupe (yay!) but there are three more I picked up that I have for you now.

The formula with all four of these was on the slightly patchy side. I don’t know what it is but all their shades seem to settle into my nail ridges and create patchy areas. Bright Pool and Sunset Shimmer are the patchier ones. Sparkling Sea covered nicely with two coats. Blue Lava is a bit watery and streaky and I used three coats.

Gap Bright Pool is an Inexpensive Dupe for Rescue Beauty Lounge Aqua Lily

Gap Bright Pool and Rescue Beauty Lounge Aqua Lily

Ladies and gents I have found an inexpensive dupe for Rescue Beauty Lounge Aqua Lily in Gap Bright Pool. Isn’t this fabulous news?

Aqua Lily was an immediate favorite of mine the second I swatched it. It’s an AMAZING color and so unique. Until now.

Someone actually tweeted me a bottle shot of Gap Bright Pool a couple weeks ago and asked me if they were dupes. I hadn’t seen it in person so really didn’t know.

Fast-forward to last weekend when I happened to be at the Gap and was checking out. I saw a container of nail polishes in a bin at the register then saw Bright Pool. Of COURSE I needed it (and some others, which I will swatch for you soon) so I bought it for $6.00. Actually no, I bought it for $3.00 because it was buy one get one free. :D

GAP Nail Polish Swatches, Photos & Comparison

Gap Nail Polish

Did you know that GAP sells nail polish? I sure didn’t until a month or so ago I was in one, and spotted them sitting in a bucket on a shelf. They had some shades that looked pretty cool, but I limited myself to just two.

One is called Gold Rush and from the bottle, it definitely looked like a Chanel Peridot dupe. The other is a glittery teal green.
