Evil Shades Cosmetics Eyeshadow Pigments Swatches & Review

More Evil Shades Cosmetics!! Today I’ve got the rest of the eyeshadow pigment samples for ya.

I feel bad because I had these for what seems like an eternity before I swatched them. So bogged down with things to swatch!

But here they are!

Disclaimer: I am still learning how best to swatch pigments so if these aren’t the best, it’s MY fault not the products fault. Some look patchier than others and it’s because of my method, sorry! I have gotten better since these were taken :)

Evil Shades Cosmetics Deviant Lipstick Swatches & Review

Good morning!

I hope you are all having a fabulous day. Today I wanted to show you something a little different from a brand called Evil Shades Cosmetics. If you know of the Black Nail Polish and Lip Gloss website, then you already know who Andrea is! Not only is she a nail polish and makeup blogger, but she has her own line of cosmetics out.

A little about Evil Shades Cosmetics: Andrea started her company three years ago when she began to get frustrated that she couldn’t find any black lip gloss anywhere. She decided to venture off on her own and create her very own gloss. After some trial and error, she came up with the perfect formula and that gloss is now called Venom. At first it was just a hobby for friends & family, but after two years she began selling not only her gloss, but also eyeshadows she had created. And a company was born!

All the cosmetics sold made by Andrea herself. The makeup is cruelty-free and some products are even Vegan!

The products I am reviewing today are from her lipstick line called Deviant Lipstick. There are about 12 different shades of lipstick in this line and I tried three of them. I have to say in all honestly, I was pretty blown away by how nice they were!

They come in black .15 oz Chapstick-like plastic tubes with a white label on them telling you the shade. But don’t be fooled by the unassuming packaging – these babies are REALLY creamy. I don’t know why but when I saw the container I expected them to have a Chapstick like, waxy consistency. I was really off-base. They are very moist and super opaque. They are made with, among other things, Castor Seed Oil and Olive Fruit Oil, which I think definitely helps with how smooth and nice they feel. They have a very mild fruity/candy scent, nothing overpowering or plastic-y though.
