The Duri Once Upon a Dream Summer 2013 Collection features six new pastel creme shades. You might think this looks more spring-like, and I agree but this is what they said about the collection.

The whimsical palette of soft shades bring summer to life with colors that embody clear skies, pink sunsets, carnivals and carousels. Duri Cosmetics Founder Faina Ritz said, “The pigment-rich pastel palette isn’t meant to put you to sleep, but to dream big for long-lasting summer days and temperate nights.”

There is something really soothing to me when I look at these shades all together. So pleasing to my eye! Soft, milky, creamy and soft. The formula while creme and pastel-like was pretty good with most, if not a bit streaky. They were 2-3 coats, depending.

Duri wants you to Keep Your Options Open this summer with their new collection called…Keep Your Options Open!

This collection actually encompasses a spring part and a summer part, each with six new nail shades.

Now I feel I always need to say this because people don’t seem to know. Duri ROCKS. They are one of my favorite nail polish brands and here’s why. Their colors are awesome. Their formula is creamy, opaque and amazing. They have quite a few colors I completely drool over every time I pull them out of my nail drawers. I really love them and here, here, here and here is why!

Are you a wine fanatic? If so you might love the colors in the new Duri Wine Tasting Party Collection for fall 2011.

The collection definitely isn’t one I would classify as unique or mind-blowing. It’s pretty subdued and fairly predictable. Most are reds but there is one color that I truly am mesmerized by!

The formula was not as consistent as Duri usually is for me. It could be because a few of these were jelly-like consistencies. I found the shimmery one and creme ones to be the best smoothest formula.

Grape Swirl

Grape Swirl is the color I mentioned above as being the one I absolutely love in this collection. The color is a dusted greyed out grape purple with blue and green and pink shimmer and a very slight frost. This was like I expect Duri’s formula to be. Totally buttery smooth and almost applied itself. This was two coats.

Duri’s new Back To Classics collection for spring/summer 2011 is comprised of twelve new colors all inspired by “The Classics”.

There are six colors for spring and six for summer and they are:

• Don’t Think Twice – Deep grey
• Almost In Love – Light pink
• Forget Me Never – Medium pink
• The Renaissance - Medium lavender
• Mona Lisa Smile - Off-white

• Taming of the Shrew – Bright cherry red
• Tudor Rose – Deep red/pink
• Pocketful of Rainbows – Medium mauve
• Lavender The Magnificent – Deep royal purple

I have been a big Duri fan for quite awhile now because they make some really amazing colors and their formula is most excellent. I LOVE the new(ish) bottles also!
