Deborah Lippmann Roses In the Snow

Deborah Lippmann Roses In the Snow is a limited edition set featuring two “fashion-sized” (mini) shades.

The duet comes in a cute little box decorated with snowflakes on the outside. On the inside the polishes sit in a plastic tray which is filled with fake snow, so it looks kind of like a snow-globe. No worries though, the snow won’t get all over everything because it’s encapsulated in the plastic.

Deborah Lippmann Fall 2015 Roar Collection

The Deborah Lippmann Fall 2015 Roar Collection is coming soon!

This 4-piece collection “evokes feminine strength and echoes the united voice of women everywhere. Inspired by the rebirth of female empowerment (equal rights, equal opportunity and female solidarity) and iconic leaders like Grace Jones, Madonna and Cher, Deborah specifically designed these show-stopping shades to represent that power with color.”

Three of the shades are cremes and one is a full-coverage super-sparkly holographic glitter.

Deborah Lippmann Whisper for Spring 2015

Deborah Lippmann Whisper for Spring 2015

It seems like it’s been an eternity since I swatched a nail collection so this morning I have Deborah Lippmann Whisper for spring 2015!

This collection, as the name may imply, is a soft, pale collection featuring four new sheer shades. The inspiration behind the collection was the Honor’s S/S 2015 runway show, which included soft lights going through chiffon fabric that the models wore. Deborah thought it looked calm and peaceful so she came up with these quiet shades that are perfect for spring.

I swatched all four of these shades over her ridge-filler base coat so I could get them as even as possible. My nails don’t ever look perfect with pale shades like this (stupid ridges) unless I do twelve million coats. I did use three coats for all of these to get them as even and saturated as I could.
