Deborah Lippmann Spring Reveries for Spring 2014

Deborah Lippmann Sweet Reveries

Deborah Lippmann Spring Reveries for spring 2014 is here!

This collection of six new pastel shades was inspired by Deborah’s love for botanical gardens and flowers. And I have to say I can 100% see that in each and every one of these shades. This is a collection I was SUPER excited to see in person and it turned out to be even better than I had hoped.

Five of the six shades here are cremes and they cover with just two glorious coats. One is a soft shimmer and it took three thinner coats. I love seeing pastel shades because it reminds me that spring is nearly here! These also remind me of an ice cream shop or something. Looking at the bottles together makes me really happy!

Deborah Lippmann Wicked Nail Lacquer Trio

Deborah Lippmann Wicked Nail Lacquer Trio

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Broadway musical I give you the Deborah Lippmann Wicked Nail Lacquer Trio.

This limited edition set includes three shades inspired by the land of Oz. Each shade is named after a song, like her other nail lacquers are. Popular was inspired by Glinda. Defying Gravity was inspired by Elphaba. One Short Day was inspired by The Emerald City.

I read this book when it came out along with the others by Gregory Maguire, but must admit, I have never seen the play. I’ve heard only excellent things though.

The formula was good with all of these, though I did use three coats with two of them.

My Nail Polish Collection Featuring Deborah Lippmann

Deborah Lippmann Collection

Happy Friday to everyone! Hope you had a great week.

Today I’ve got my Deborah Lippmann nail collection for you. This collection isn’t huge, but still a respectable 54 bottles. There are a couple minis missing I think also.

There is something about these square bottles that I just adore. I love how they always stand up straight, never fall over and line up so perfectly in my drawers. Not THOSE drawers, pervs! You might not think that’s a big deal, but for avid nail collectors, bottle shape is really important!

Deborah Lippmann Jewel Heist for Fall 2013

Deborah Lippmann Jewel Heist

Deborah Lippmann Jewel Heist for fall 2013 features six new shades all in shimmery or glittery jewel tones.

Today I’ve got what she classifies as the two shimmers and creme in the collection. The other three not shown are uber glitters – Glitter And Be Gay (canary yellow), Shake Your Money Maker (emerald green) and Va Va Voom (sapphire glitter).

I picked these ones to review because I prefer shimmers and creme to glitters. And those glitters appear to be the super chunky kind, which I am not a huge fan of. They do all color coordinate though, so you can mix and match easily.
