Clinique Skinny Stick & Just Browsing Review

Clinique Skinny Stick and Just Browsing

Clinique Skinny Stick and Just Browsing are new items from the brand and I’ve got some info and swatches for you.

Skinny Stick is a new super skinny eyeliner that comes in seven shades including Angel Hair, Lanky Lapis, Olive-Tini, Slimming Black, Black Silver, Slim Sable and Skinny Jeans . It’s thin and small enough to get in-between lashes rather nicely, and has a long-wearing yet creamy and smooth formula. Just Browsing Brush-On Styling Mousse is a tinted mousse with a very small applicator brush and 24 hour wear formula. It’s smudge-resistant and comes in four shades including Blonde, Light Brown, Deep Brown and Black/Brown.

Clinique Even Better Dark Spot Hand Cream SPF 15

Clinique Even Better Dark Spot Correcting Hand Cream SPF 15

Always on the hunt for great hand lotions with SPF, I bought the Clinique Even Better Dark Spot Hand Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 15 at my local CCO not too long ago.

This lotion is supposed to help with dark spots, age spots, discolorations and help create a more even skin tone. I can’t speak to any of that because I don’t have dark or age spots on my hands, and that’s not really why I bought it. It contains UVA/UVB protection as well as botanicals to help prevent future darkening.

Clinique Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen Face Cream

Clinique Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen Face Cream

Now that summer is almost here I figured it was time to step up the SPF factor in my face cream. Normally I use the Simple Skincare Light Protecting Moisturizer with SPF 15, which I really love. But sadly, they don’t have anything higher than SPF 15 and my dermatologist said I definitely need to have at least SPF 30 in the hotter months.

Fast-forward to me perusing the Sephora website for a new sunscreen for the face. I landed on the Clinique Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen Face Cream ($21.00 for 1.7 oz) which sounded pretty good. Actually I wanted the SPF 50 version, but they were sold out. So I went for it and have been testing it out for a week.

Clinique All About Shadow Quad On Safari

Clinique All About Shadow Quad On Safari

The Clinique All About Shadow Quads are new this spring. In fact they have them in quads and 8-pan palettes!

The quads come in eight shade selections and I had a very hard time narrowing it down to just one. You see, I had no intention of buying anything that day. I walked into Sephora with a friend who was going to pick up one thing and I wound up walking out with a bunch of stuff I suddenly needed. I very rarely ever get excited by anything Clinique does but as soon as I saw these I was smitten!

I wound up getting On Safari because you know, it’s green and whatnot. I was rather impressed with the swatches I did in the store, even though I wanted 3 or 4 of the others ones as well!

Anyway these quads come in a shiny silver compact and inside you get 4 eyeshadows, two sponge applicators and a mirror. On the mirror is a handy little guide showing you where to place each numbered color as well.

Clinique Lucky Penny Color Surge Eye Shadow Swatches & Review

Clinique Lucky Penny Color Surge Eye Shadow

I’ll be honest, Clinique isn’t really a makeup brand that is on my radar much. I have used some of their moisturizers for ever, but barely have any actual makeup from them. However when I was at the local CCO a couple weeks ago I couldn’t pass up this gorgeous shimmery shadow I saw called Lucky Penny.

Lucky Penny is from their Color Surge Eye Shadow Super Shimmer line. It’s a bronze/pink shade with lots of shimmer, but not the loose glittery kind of shimmer. No, this is much nicer.
