China Glaze Summer Neons Swatches & Review

China Glaze Summer Neon 2012 China Glaze Summer Neons Swatches & Review

The days are longer and hotter now, and China Glaze has twelve new neon shades for your tips ‘n toes in their Summer Neons collection.

I must say right off the bat that this is my favorite neon collection ever. I wasn’t expecting AT ALL to love these as much as I do. If they had just been a bunch of neon cremes I wouldn’t have. But iridescent shimmery neons? Oh yes. There are a couple non-shimmery shades in here, but few.

As far as formula some of them are thicker and you should wait a few minutes in-between coats because you will get pooling and/or cuticle drag. But nearly all of them came out perfect after 2-3 coats.

Sun-Kissed

Sun-Kissed is a shimmery highlighter yellow. This is uber-bright. Even brighter in person. I love it, the shimmer just makes it perfect in my eyes.

China Glaze Capitol Colours The Hunger Games – Swatches, Photos & Review

China Glaze Colours From The Capitol1 China Glaze Capitol Colours The Hunger Games Swatches, Photos & Review

If you haven’t yet heard by now, you have been living under the largest rock on the planet. icon wink China Glaze Capitol Colours The Hunger Games Swatches, Photos & Review China Glaze Capitol Colours is their latest 12-piece collection for spring, and of course, is a tribute to the upcoming movie The Hunger Games, which is based on a series of best-selling books from Suzanne Collins. The movie comes out in March ( I will be there with bells on!)

Let me say, if you have not read the three books in the series (The Hunger Games, Catching Fire and Mockingjay) RUN to the store and get them! I read them about a year ago and aside from The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo series, these are some of the best books I have read in years and years. Yes they are technically “young adult” but are not written in a juvenile or off-putting way for an adult. They are nothing at all like the Twilight series (which I get asked a lot). The story grabs you, sucks you in and is totally amazing. I died a little when I finished them, they were that good.

This collection of polishes includes twelve new colors with a variety of finishes. I did have a few issues with the formula of some of them, more on that below.

China Glaze Electropop Collection for Spring 2012 Swatches & Review

Welcome to the colorful world of China Glaze Electropop! Electropop is their new 12-piece color saturated collection for spring 2012.

Nearly all the colors in this collection are cremes with the exception of two shimmers and one glitter. But that’s not to say they’re boring.

The formula was really great with nearly all of them. They seemed to apply a bit sheer and I kept thinking I would need three coats, but nearly all were just perfect with two.
